Right back at. Need to put Saturday’s awful performance behind us and get back on track. Starting the Champions League campaign with 3 points away from home would be huge. Got to figure we will see some rotation for the first time. I won’t even attempt to predict the lineup since we have no idea how Slot plans to manage the squad.
his reaction to Saturday will be interesting. many players were tired on Saturday, and playing them 48 hours later makes zero sense - Mo, Dom, Jota, Mac, Diaz in that group for me. but then we have Virgil, who played fine but he's played a lot of mins recently. Ibou - can't afford to push him too hard as we've seen. Robbo - needs to recharge. but ... he needs to start some of them.
Are they going to be less tired 2 days later? our smaller squad is going to be tested this week for sure.
conventional physio advice is players need 72 hours to recuperate after a game, so they'll be more tired tomorrow night.
Given the number of players involved internationally last week I was a bit surprised that three or four changes weren't made for the Forest game which would have left them fresher for tomorrow. Now I assume we'll see many of the backups getting a start vs AC.
Traveling squad: Goalkeepers: Alisson, Kelleher, Jaros Defenders: Konate, Van Dijk, Quansah, Gomez, Alexander-Arnold, Robertson, Tsimikas, Bradley Midfielders: Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, Jones, Mac Allister, Endo, Morton Forwards: Salah, Chiesa, Jota, Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo
Milan too have a lot to think about, with the derby at the weekend. I haven't even watched the Forest match, saw the score and was so disappointed. Hopeful to see a bounce back here, which might give me the strength to watch through that awful loss.

think so --- I would have pegged a few more guys in, but then again - it is early season and no-one should realistically be 3 gmaes a week tired yet - but if we keep this up they will be tired at some point soon .... play bloody Darwin for a game....
LFC actually look pretty good, apart from that opening brainfart bullshit. The crosses/final ball haven't been there, but looks like chances will come. Need to get that last creative pass to be better, gonna level this up.
Thought we would see more rotation in the lineup after Saturday’s shit performance. give some of the guys on the bench a chance
