In the upcoming season for the pre season, Milan will be playing Chelsea in Miami. If you live in south Florida or want to go to the game, you can start buying tickets using the code WFC12. I was lucky to buy 2 tix on the field, row 2. HOPEFULLY, Milan or Chelsea bring top players to the exhibition game. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that tickets are now available...

I went to the Barca vs Chivas and it sucked that Messi wasnt there....

I think Ibra will come since he play at the indoor football stadium here in Miami alot and vacations here too...

Its pretty cool to see this match come to Miami and Chelski just winning the CL.

Thats incredible. I work down in Aventura but def might have to make a trip down there to play. Tix went on sale weeks ago. Try Stubhub.com to get good seats. I got lucky and bought tix for face value. 123 for row 2 on the field. Now. they are going for over 250. good luck....

    Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo We won
    KPB's Passing has improved
That pass to Emanuelson was a thing of beauty
    He's worthy of the #10

idk if i'm ready to go that far. kpb is fine playing in the hole if one of the strikers is going to create like ibra did last season. cassano can play that role or robinho to a lesser extent. kpb himself isn't going to be the creative influence that i think we're going to need... at least from his match tonight.

overall, i was pleasantly surprised with the way we played tonight. chelsea was at just about full strength from the start, and we were able to keep them out of the net. we were always going to have to play for a goal on the counter, and we nicked one when we had the chance.

can't complain too much when you look at the midfield we started. surely, if noce and monto were in there from the start, we would have done a better job of dictating the play. also, an attacking three of el sha, kpb, and urby is a bit less potent than what i expect to be our first XI attacking line with kpb behind two of cassano, robinho, and pato.

it's kind of sad to see ambro out there as the last survivor of our "great champions." i caught myself actively cheering for him more tonight than i ever have before... probably out of a sense of nostalgia or something girly like that.

    Disagreed.Boateng should play there
Cassano and Robinho are far too light and cant play that role
FFS Just cuz Boateng doesnt have the technique of Rui Costa doesnt mean he cant be a CAM
I already noticed that his passing has improved in that pass he gave to Urby for the 2nd goal
You also forgot we have Cassano who can create from SS
I think he didnt try as much seeing as this is a friendly game though
The player that is most dissapointing me these few matches is El Shaarawy
The guy doesnt seem to learn anything.I know you will say something like "But he's still young" but that's what we used to say about Pato
The guy looks more and more like a New Robinho *facepalm*

    Montolivo impressed me...awesome *thumbsup*
I dont like Ema getting all these goals....Allegri will think he's good *facepalm*

i wasn't clear. i agree boateng is fine there as long as cassano and/or robinho can help create as the withdrawn striker. throw in monto's creativity, and i think we'll be ok.

Montolivo is probably going to fit into this team very well as an LCM or in the center of midfield. He has great vision. But lets not go overboard. We won't be okay in this condition without a few additional players.

Yeah well one of Robi/Cass is essential to our system
I just hope Urby doesnt get much game-time
Im not gonna get fooled by some goals in Friendlies
We need a good Anchor and that team would be pretty good
Monty-Anchor-Noce/Constant(though I'd prefer to buy someone else or play Valoti over one of them)
Sorry Im not fooled by Traore. He doesnt know how to hold the ball he'll be exposed when the League starts

    And I'll say this.Boateng IS a Playmaker
He's not an assistman though. He lacks that Final ball(he does make up for it with his great Shooting Technique though)
But he does know how to make/spread plays

I was at the game and lucky enough to see the players up close. For what its worth heres some notes on Milan and Chelsea.
    1) Traore is the odd man out, did not impress and he lacks a lot of skill. He is tall and semi fast, but hes not a starter nor a sub who will make a difference.
    2) Boateng/Urby/SES partnership is fun to watch. The speed they have can truely help counter attacks, while adding Robinho could help also. Boateng looked to play as center fwd, tho i would like to see him more as midfielder than trequartista. Id rather have Urby play up top. He is tremendously fast and has the quick feet to get by players. Hes going to be our breakout star this year. Him or SES( who thouroughly impressed me)
    3) Some of these guys are so much different in person. I was lucky enough to be near locker room on way out so I got to see them literally from feet away. Guys who are taller than I imagined (Bonera, Boateng, SES, Acerbi, Abate, Mexes, John Terry). Guys who were smaller, Urby( real tiny), and Hazard, who was small but fast as shit.
    4) Chelski looked like they had first squad and started most of starters. I thought we'd get blown out due to our form and they were all healthy. We held our own and even tho just a friendly game, it was nice to cheer a Milan goal live and celebrate a win vs predominantly Chelski crowd of 57k +
    5) Cassano didn't play but he did train before the game. He was mainly by himself but with trainer and he looked gassed. He waved to crowd and gave the " Im tired" look. I dont know whats going to happen with him, but with speed around him I would like him to stay at Milan. This Milan team def can compete, and hopefully he stays and helps.

Either way, seeing the team live was amazing. I highly suggest if you have the chance to go that you do and try to get best seats. Seeing players up close is an incredible experience that every Milan fan should be able to get

Boateng is NOT a CM Get this through your thick skull people
He's not good enough in holding the ball and he's rash defensively
    He's a Trequartista
A physical one till now...who IMO does playmake(spread play) but lacks the final ball
Though lately if you've seen the Chelsea Game his passing seems to have improved...he made 2 great through balls
The one in 1st half for Ema when Ema missed
And the one in 2nd half for Ema when Ema scored
The one who really dissapointed me was El Shaarawy
    He hasnt improved....AT ALL

who needs a CF when we have nocerino on the team, lol. A future galliani quote.

Anyway, i'm surprised with the friendly wins, even in our best years we never won friendlies EVER

I remember losing every friendly and being so mad that we can't beat crap teams. The team we have now might be inferior to the teams of past, but I feel like they all have something to prove. I am enjoying watching this team and really think that if healthy we can compete for Scudetto and prob quarters in CL. Balance the books and perhaps improve core next year with another signing. We can win games now, but its going to take a few years if we can think about winning in Europe...

    Not that farfetched actually
It is possible to play without a True CF as Spain proved it in Euro's
Nocerino has always been our CF in disguise and its been working
He also scored in Camp Nou [IMG]

don't get me wrong i love nocerino. he became a pivotal part of this team very quickly but we do still need a forward who is reliable. pato will be injured, robinho is robinho, cassano is a creator and not a finisher, and El Shaarawy is exciting but can't be our go-to -guy.

We do need another striker. Pato,Robinho,Cassano, and SEs are all good but surely we need back ups. Id all be in favor of signing a pure striker. We need some one to score the goals that these guys will be creating...
