you wouldnt trade Abbiati for chivu? or did you mean you want him to start for milan next year?

I would like Chivu, but I'd rather pay Roma cash instead of handing over two good players.

Well Roma wants a goalkeeper, as Doni is pretty much crap and Curci untested.

well i think its bad business. you can get a pretty good goalie for €5m easy. chivu is worth three or four times that. and also i dont think roma will sell one of their main defensive pieces. they know the reason theyre doing so well is because their defense is healthy finally. and theyre damn good. youd probably have better chance getting mancini then chivu at this point.

Considering how Milan always seem to snap up Brazilians, I wouldn't be suprised...:D ;)

I think we can do better than Abbiati between the sticks, but that is my opinion at least. We really need a quality CB, and Chivu is just that in my opinion. I'm not a fan of losing two of our 'keepers, but I think we could part ways with one, and still hunt around for a top class Dida replacement.

I don't understand it either. I like Costacurta, but how long does he want to prolong the inevitable?

I don't know, I guess he just loves the game too much to leave. Personally I think he should just retire. But maybe he's a good presence in the locker room...

2007. But to make money on him, we'll give him to Benfica this summer.

We can't expect a club like Benfica to handover cash for Rui Costa, thats just not happening. If anything we could maybe get an option on good player, hopefully someone like Luisao, but even that's stretching it.

i was thinking the same thing. youre not gonna 'get paid' in this deal. hell probably end up leaving for free or for just a symbolic sum of money. hes 33 years old and hes got a huge contract. just giving him away will save you alot of money.

I don't want to jump the gun, but this kid is the read deal. Dude's well over 6' and from what I hear he's got some punch. Nothing better then a classic German sweeper in the ranks.

    Alessandro Costacurta the second coming!

Heard he played a blinder today, loved him in the 1990's one of my favourite players, he's very much at veteran stage but nice to hear he is still capable of turning the odd brilliant performance!
