is SES actually injured? or is it one of those injuries invented by the coach for a reason as to why a player isn't starting?

    Kaka's out for a month!:geek:

Also interesting is the fact that Kaka has refused to accept any wages till the time he returns from his injury.

“I have decided to not accept any salary from Milan during my injury period. I just want the support and affection to heal soon. Today onwards, I have already started the treatment and your affection will give me the motivation to be back on the field as soon as possible. It’s a hard and difficult time but I hope to be on the field as soon as possible.”

    Noce---De Jong---Muntari
    ---------Robinho----------
    ----Mario-------Matri---

Probably something like this. Maybe Super Mario behind the strikers.

What is really going to be funny is the players on the bench...no one left!! Maybe we will use our secret weapon...Birsa!

that midfield looks really ugly. i would almost be tempted to put constant in at LB and move urby up to the midfield just to have some sort of creativity in the middle. ugh. this is going to be an ugly, ugly game

Allegri: "I have doubts about whether to field Emanuelson or Constant as a left back and also about using Robinho or Birsa as trequartista."

Allegri: "I won't have any problems in fielding Cristante tomorrow if there is the need for it.

Allegri: "13 first team players will be available for tomorrow's match vs. Celtic. And we still have to evaluate Poli's condition."

Allegri: "Abate, Saponara and Niang will return to training with the squad on Thursday."

Allegri: "My intention was only to let Kakà play the first half vs. Torino, but then Montolivo got injured and that messed up my plans.

Allegri: "Domani è una partita importante"

Why play a 4-3-1-2 with a trequartista at all? The proper players are not fit. Play a 4-3-3 and give Balo the free role.

Robinho can play in the hole a bit but he's obviously not a long term solution. He doesn't have the physicality on the wing anymore to beat wide defenders so playing him centrally couldn't hurt for the time being.

    Zacc--Mexes---Zap--Urby

    --Munta--De Jong--Noce

    ---Balo------------Matri

Milan probable line-up according to football-italia: Abbiati; Zaccardo, Zapata, Mexes, Constant; Nocerino, De Jong, Muntari; Birsa; Balotelli, Matri.

allegri said urby may play for constant and robinho may play for birsa. either way, it's not an inspiring list.

Birsa was fighting relegation last season, now he's starting in a CL match at the San Siro!

Baptism by fire for the boys called up.

Thank God we have one of the few Italian players who can win a match on his own, Balotelli.

    Alright chaps.

Very much doubt Ledley will be playing as he was rated as doubtful this morning.

We'll probably line up with Forster in nets. Lustig at RB and Izzy at LB. Van Dijk/Ambrose at CB covered by Brown and Mulgrew in midfield.

Depending on Matthews fitness he could start on the right. If he isn't fit enough Boerrigter will probably start. Commons will play in the hole with Samaras on the left. Stokes has been playing well and should get the nod up top.

I'd reckon NL will be looking at attacking the flanks. Any combination of Samaras/Boerrigter/Matthews is going to offer plenty of pace.

Formation will be 4-2-3-1 more than likely.

Wow... what an ugly lineup. Allegri is definitely thinking of trying to match the sort of intensity that he believes Celtic will bring, with his midfield selections. But what the fck can you do with such a depleted roster?

He can call it a 4312 but I'll be surprised if Birsa plays high between two strikers and not deep with long ball attempts.
