He is away from the team for "personal reasons" last I heard. Personally, I thought he was fantastic in the preseason. Unfortunately, the outside mids in Morrow's 3-5-2 have primarily defensive roles, so there is no chance for him to play other than in the 3-4-3. In the preseason, we played a more aggressive 3-5-2 and I thought he was excellent as an outside winger. Very smooth on the ball.
In fact, I will add this. I thought that in the preseason he made a much bigger impressons on the right than Wagner did on the left.
