The guys with yellows must leave at this point because they are gassed and have become imminent risks for a red.
For good and bad, this has been your classic Marsch game. Terrorizing opponent on the press, combining, smart set pieces. Then tiring out, lack of adjustment, and a loss of a lead.
What the hell is Marsch thinking not making any subs? He did a great job the first 60 minutes, but ruined it all by not making changes. And they have solid options on the bench.
Disagree about the press. I don’t think they’ve been that aggressive today. Marsch just blew it by not getting fresh legs on.
You know I'm honest, and I don't care about reps. Beyond the first half by Adams, little here to rescue from our guys. The second half, Adams was a liability and Brenden nearly invisible. Leeds depended hugely on Harrison to keep control of the midfield, and Rodrigo was the man behind every good attack --who cares if he lost the ball stupidly four times, when he was the focus of over 20 dangerous attacks.
If this ends 2-2 it’s a tough lesson to learn at the expense of 2 points against what is not a good team
They should be able to close this out, but they are definitely needing to manage this out better. Going to be stressful last 6.
Hutti is known as a bit of a crazy guy. He pulls experiments out of his arse from time to time, like today's 5-3-2. They'll get better as the season moves forward and Hutti becomes once again painfully aware of his limitations.
