Who do you see starting in the middle once Wilshire is fit? I'm assuming 3 of Wilshire, Arteta, Song, and Ramsey + Gervinho, Walcott and RVP up top. Not too shabby.

Using Wilshere as a holding midfielder holds back his other talents. Jack can be a box to box midfielder. In the long-run, I see Frimpong and/or Coquelin alongside Song.

If Wenger continues with the 4-3-3, I'd try Ramsey and Wilshere, with Song sitting back and protecting the back four.

wilshere does best as a midfield distributor for me, could even swap him and ramsey around during a game

    We can go 4-1-4-1

    Sagna, Per, Thomas, Santos

    Song/Deeench/Coq

    Theo/OC, Rambo, JFW, Gervinho/AA/Ryo

    RvP/?

Wilshere is better at turning defence into attack, that he contiues his runs afterwords is bonus, but he's better back there where his vision for an outlet, quick pass forward will put Theo and Gervais into space. Ramsey comes alive just outside the 18 in a way Wilshere doesn't (as of yet).

They are both good footballers so they may well switch back and forth throughout a match but starting eleven Song and Wilshere start behind Ramsey.

I hope we refuse to release all players for that useless tournament.

Yes they are. It's not a FIFA tournament

[edit] Actually I think you're right. Now that I think about it, isn't it U-23?

Anyway, there surely has to be some type of agreement between clubs and "country". I can somewhat accept Aaron going, but no way can we have our players going to two tournaments in one summer.

If they goto Euros, then I dont believe they will. I think the English FA have an agreement to only allow players to participate in one of Euros or the Olympics.

Gibbs has a good chance to play in Olympics too.

I looked it up, and it's not a FIFA tournament. Last time a few clubs refused to release players, a few players appealed to FIFA, FIFA said clubs should release all U23s, and some clubs appealed that and then backed down in the fights with their players.

I assume we'll see similar fights this time.

It would be a waste of time, IMO. The players are going.

showed us he is certainly capable of a defense splitting pass, from two very different positions in different games, he also likes to try to get on the end of goals as well. so the whole attack is very dynamic and unpredictable.

well done to him, i definitely did my fair share of criticizing but now he is cementing the spot as his own. jfw will have his work cut out for him to get back in. he was the young gun with a point to prove, now he has to motivate himself to reach a new level

We all become too impatient and forget that not all great players become so overnight. Good stuff from Rambo, keep building young fella.

Ive believed in Rambo from the start and am so happy to see how well he has recovered and started to find his stride.

A word of caution though and im going on record as saying this, he is still very young and will have a dip in form as the season wears on. If he continues to play the same number of games that he has its inevitable that his performance level will peak and then fall towards the closing stages of the league.

Lets just all be patient and remember that he is still growing when this happens :)
