    Win for team "R"

"R" gets a Roberto Carlos free-kick screamer (followed by 12 into the wall), and 1 each from Raul and Ronaldo. Too much talent in midfield not to score from the build up.

Kahn has an off day but they make it interesting with headers from Koller and Klose.

    3-2

  4. Team R takes it but it is close

R wins with its galaxy of mega stars - considerable firepower and a proven forward line.

R wins in a runaway 3-0, but should have been 5-0.

Yeah, this works out much better with a poll. Right now it's 6-0 for Team R, which rather surprises me given the relative strength of Team K as well. No draws? Interesting stuff...we'll have to see how it plays out. First to fifteen wins the result.

So why is Roberto Carlos not on team "C". Does this mean that John O'Brien can be on team "J"?

we could have a mercy rule for the group matches, like 9 to 0 or something? i think this result is pretty clear

Looks like we have a winner...

It wasn't as lopsided as some may have hoped for, but Team R definitely pulls out the win, 2:1.

Ronaldinho free kick, 23rd minute, 1:0.
    Koller header, 58th minute, 1:1.
Ronaldo in the box, 78th minute, 2:1.

I'll update the standings tonight for Group A and set up Match # 3...
