    CaCTuS[14DT] Red Card

Wipe the slobber off your chins. Metro having a "partnership" (whatever that means) with boca juniors shouldn't be something to get all excited about.

First off, I'll be shocked to see these two players do any better than anybody we've already got on the team. Remember, boca's youth system has produced about as much talent as the Metros youth system.

Second, of all teams to try and be involved with, they had to pick a team who's mantra is to do whatever it takes to win regardless of playing good or not. This of course usually does backfire on them because at the end of the day, talent is what wins you games. Why do I have the feeling that this Forchetti will be prime candidate for red card after red card? And if Galvan is anything like his former team mates we're in for a guy that whines and cries more than Mathis. This is just speculation, but it seems that this is what boca fosters in their players.

I'm willing to bet that once the loan is over the Metros will not be looking to re-up.

    discuss.

Bradley has personally scouted these two individuals and both played with Metro in Argentina. I am sure they are both going to be awful players who are unable to show for themselves in MLS.

    Please don't feed the trolls...

I think that the Metro board has more trolls per poster this side of the Politics Forum, which is saying quite a bit

Like your original post wasn't because you are a river fan (my apologies you are not a metro troll)

However I feel like taking Deez Nuts and separating his rather puny brains from the rest of his body

And for a minute, I was hoping this word of caution was not directed at me.

CaCTuS we have to trust Bradley, and give him a chance, take a wait and see attitude. He has been around from the beginning with MLS, and remains one of the few coaches that everyone thinks very highly off. I think we are lucky to have him. We realy don't know how much time Bradley spent with this two, and how quick can he read into the character of this players. Try not looking at their pictures for to long, lol. Between me and you i will just whisper this to your ear " there are some very sensitive people on this boards about anything bad said of the metros or speculate in that direction" please don't take it personaly, you are not a troll but a careing metro fan, and that is all that counts.
    cheers

I'm interested in how many Boca jerseys will now be roaming around under the stands. I've had the pleasure of seeing a few red sashes so far this season. Could this set the scene for a rumble? Remember: An attack on one of us is an attack on all of us. STICK TOGETHER!

P.S.: I wish no ill-will on the two players. It's the fanaticos we've got to keep in line.

We are still talking about games in Jersey, right? I don't really think the River-CABJ rivalry is going to cause any fatalities in these parts. Especially since I can only recall one Boca jersey wearer over the age of 13.

As for the partnership, Metro can only learn from Boca. We've been around for all of 8 years, and it's AEG's first year in charge of Metro. Let them pick up a few pointers. Yes, if these players were Maradonna Jr they'd be playing right now for Boca, but remember Bradley saw 80 some odd players this off-season. He wanted to keep these guys. I have to think it is because he thought they could do well in MLS. Not all-stars, but good players. Let's not piss on them until they've actually played a game, or at least entered the country.

And yes, were this River-Metro I'm sure we'd have 2 posters with different opinions than they currently hold.

We have to see how they are going to play for us, before we make comments as to whether they are whiners, etc.

All I know, is that the Metros are playing like the care for the team. That's all I care about. They are hungry, and only good things will come out of it. Lets wait and see.

Honest to God, you're all a bunch of idiots. We have one person condemning the Boca duo before they even play for us and the rest of the boards is pissed at Wolyniec, our fourth forward who plays a specific role and has done it well. Guys, we're paying 24k for this kid, what do you expect.

    Fools, brood of vipers.

    I'm not pissed at anybody.

Maybe I'm just a little ticked at those Euro guys on the other board who are trying to tell me how to act at a soccer match...er...game.
