A War to Rid U.S. of Surplus?

    As horrible as it sounds this is a big upside to war. We are going to double the population of the planet, I believe in the next 24 years, and then again in the next 12. Space exploration or war, we have to go somewhere.

    Does the US really have surplus capital? We've been borrowing for years and foreign ownership of formerly American companies is very common.
