Based upon Benny Feilhaber & Sasha Kljestan's podcasts from Holland, the U-20 team seems to be cranking "Don't Funk With My Heart" by Black-Eyed Peas a lot this week. It was their "song of the week".

You can get the podcasts at http://www.ussoccer.com/news/fullstory.sps?iNewsid=179646.

I'm pretty sure "I don't know karate, but I know crazy" is the best lyric ever written.

Thought of this when I read that Michael K. favorites The High Strung will spend the summer doing a Public Library Tour (!). If you're in Michigan over the next couple months, check em out.

The 0.0 scores linked at the bottom are more fun than the 10.0s, IMHO. BTO and KISS reissues are lumped together with Sonic Youth, John Frusciante and Liz Phair. (Still have a hard time believing that they gave a SY album a 0.0...)

So Corgan is bringing back the Smashing Pumpkins.

Anyone think the others will join up for the big bucks tour?

Holy Hell .... I hadn't noticed those. I read a bit of the Sonic Youth review -- where the guy likens it to Metal Machine Music -- and I thought "Well about the Flaming Lips "Zaireeka" then? Sure enough, that was the next double 0.

    Those crazy kids.

or this announcement was planned appropriately to coincide well w/ his solo release today....do not think this affects his solo tour negatively.

CLTV in Chicago. Corgan took out a full page ad in the Tribune to pimp his new disc and mentioned reviving the pumpkins. I think it is online at the www.chicagotribune.com website.
