Just want to extend a personal "Thank You" to Jason Kreis for being so enthusiastic for Ronald Cerritos' PK goal.

Jason was intense all night, anticipating play, very animated... and it helped the TEAM - as a leader should.

    Than you Jason.

How big was the crowd out at Dragon tonight? About the same as previous games, or did fewer folks show up?

If this number were true then the stadium would be about 85% full. Just watch the TV broadcast. I'd guess under 4k easily.

This move to Southlake has gutted the Burn's following. I wonder where the 20k will come from in 2005.

Hey HSG, Back To the Bowl in '04 !!!!!

4 goals for Kreis in 7 games. Not too shabby.

Lets hope he gets more help in that department. He can't do it by himself. Rhine / EJ - how bought one of you two fella's knocking one in every now and then?

Let's add Cerritos to that list. At least until Rhine or EJ start missing PKs.

Hey, Thompson starts training this month, right?

1 of those 3 (EJ, Rhine, Cerritos) might be trade-bait before too long.

Unfortunatley, the plan for this year was for Jason to not have to carry the team early so that he'd be more useful down the stretch.

And he hasn't just been carrying the offensive load for the team in some blue-collar, nondescript manner. Each one of his goals has been spectacularly classy in it's own way. Jason Kreis, aerial threat? Who would have imagined it? It just goes to show that with any respectable service at all, he is a proven finisher.

Jason has definitely provided the majority of the few bright spots this season.

EJ still seems to be thought of pretty highly as a prospect by a few coaches but for whatever reason things just haven't worked out for him here.

Provided we could get quality in return (a solid starter or perhaps a first and second round pick) I say trade him.

I haven't been too high on Rhine this season, but after watching the game on tape I saw him take a few hard shots on frame and almost beat the offsides trap a few times. Hope his hard work pays off for him soon.

    And thanks Jason!

Yep. He took a couple pretty good shots. More than we've seen from either EJ or Cerritos in that department. BUT, he was constantly offsides and he failed on numerous occasions to link up in the offensive third by holding the ball too long.

Rhine's achilles heel, that damed first, settling, touch. Hopefully that volley off the Pareja cross made an impression on him, and he'll start one-timing some balls. He can create the chances.

I think he earned another start.
