I love Tony & Albas pizza and pasta.

In 1997 you could turn your ticket in and get a bunch of clash trading cards. Lost gems of the world. I ended up with thousands of them because not many people redeemed them.

If Berhalter gets hired as Quakes coach, will Claudio Reyna come over from FC Broccoli to be his technical advisor/director?

What year are you writing this from? Claudio Reyna is no longer with Austin FC.

Oh I didn't know that Reyna was gone from Austin as I don't keep up with the Broccoli's.

He must have been forced out because of the Berhalter USMNT mess...

The Quakes are the only MLS team with no U-22 initiative players on their roster...

Former Chicago Fire player 20 year old Jhon Duran, who they bought for $2.5 million and sold for $18 million with the potential for $4 million in add ons, plus a 10% sell on... these are the types of players that are out there if you are willing to spend the money and have good people in scouting and analytics doing the talent evaluation. At this rate that 10% could end up being like 10 million lol

Yes he basically was forced to resign because he and his wife essentially blackmailed the technical leadership of US Soccer by saying they would publicly reveal Berhalter's college DV incident unless they fired him first.

That's right. John Fisher has already had his way with A's. :(

And Chicago is a great example of doing less with more; worst in the East with all of that and a top 5 payroll.

Okay, so what?? I never said "the Quakes should be more like the Chicago Fire" I said the Quakes should use their U-22 initiative slots like 28 of 29 MLS teams. ALL 28 of them currently above the Quakes in the standings by the way, even the generally incompetent Chicago Fire.

The only reason the Chicago Fire were specifically mentioned is because Jhon Duran may soon overtake Alphonso Davies as the best player MLS has ever produced... if he hasn't already.

    Yeah, I recall the incident.

We all know Berhalter won’t ever be friends with the Reyna’s again.

I think Berhalter is a good club coach but he was not right for the national team.

Will the last place Quakes have better attendance than Atlanta United this evening?

Remember when Atlanta was the darling of MLS? As I always say, easy to start, not so easy to maintain year after year, especially when you go thru some down times. Remember when Houston was the darling of MLS as they won 2 straight MLS Cups with our team? Some years later, they're not so good, and suddenly the stands are looking pretty empty.

All that said, I expect a pretty slim turnout tonight for the Quakes as well... Midweek, crap team, heat, etc....

Houston has never been an MLS darling or had a massive fan base. They've always been on par with what the they did in San Jose.

Houston drew well until the covid season, then they are now starting to climb back out of the hole.

Well everything was orange happy those 1st few years. It was a classic case of born on 3rd base and thought they hit a triple. But your team is not always going to be really good, and then it's not so much fun anymore. I know they've rebounded a bit since their weaker years.
