I like the fact that the DC training jersey is available, but am worried because they also have a Josh Wolff Chicago Fire shirt. How can they have the latest and the oldest items at the same time? It booggles the mind.

It's sort of ironic that MLS and MLB are developing a business relationship, considering that baseball is the one established league that MLS could be seen as directly competing against, due to the overlapping seasons (not that MLB should be shaking in their boots or anything).

Let's hope they get the merchandise situation under control at MLS- there's plenty of us willing to buy any little thing with a DCU logo on it. Bring on the Marco Etcheverry insta-mullet hair gel.

The store looks good. I'm more than willing to buy a few hundred dollars worth of DCU merchandise but the lack of items available is truly appaling :(

Too right. Hell, I complain about companies slapping logos on random junk, but if United did it, I'd have to kick one of my roommates out to make room for all the stuff I'd buy. Ties, shot glasses, cufflinks, bedding sets, service for 8...you name it, I'll buy it.

Interesting. I'm fine with the store, but the lack of individualizing (i.e. Names and Numbers on the back) reduces their sales abilities. I'm quite certain that some fans would buy multiple jerseys if they could put individual names and numbers on the back. It may not be a money-maker from the individualizing standpoint (break-even pricing), but it would generate more jersey sales, that's for sure.

I guess the long-sleeve options will remain nothing but a dream. :(
