Coach Canada publicly admits now that Canada can beat Germany.

And Germany can beat the US.

    Go figure.

    Yes, they can.

Norway can also beat the US.

    So can Canada.

Doens't look like the US can beat many people these days.

Well, thats what happens when more then half your roster is collecting old age pensions eh.

    Team USA rules all.

We will destroy all in our path.

We are dominance in the world of women's soccer!!!

Plus: It's our trophy. We found it. We're keeping it.

    *sticks tongue out at world*

You know, Dr. Phil says it not healthly to dwell on the past.

It's important to look ahead without depending on the past to detirmine what will happen.

    *looks ahead*

I see a bunch of old saggy american butts. I see canes and electric little scooters shuffling their way around a soccer field.

Oh, and I see lots of losing. LOTS.

So you know, there is a lot of young talent on hour team!! Abby Wambach! Aly Wagner (you know you lub her, Mel)!! Danille Slaton, Cat Reddick, Kylie Bivens...I could go on.

Yes, we do have our share of old ladies. I know they're old ladies. They know they're old ladies.

    Having said that...

They're the old ladies that are going to help kick the ************ out every other team on their way to the World Cup.

Oh...and about Dr. Phil...*flips Dr. Phil off* :D

Dr. Phil is not offended by your obsenities. He knows it seems from a deeply rooted unconscience awareness that the U S of A is gunna get their granny butts buried 6 feet under.

And, just cause Aly Wagner is hot, doesn't mean I'm going to cheer for her. Its more in my favour if she needs comfort anyways.

Keep in mind that Evan Pellerud will not say something like this, unless he truely, 100%, believes that it can happen. Also, Canada is not the same as they were in the Gold Cup. They've surpassed that greatly. They've surpassed what they were 1 or 2 months ago.
November 2002: Canada beat Mexico 2-0, both were OG.
June 2003: Canada beat Mexico 4-0.
August 2003: Canada wrecks Mexico 8-0.
They've improved more in the last year than most teams have since the '99 WC.
not saying that Canada WILL beat Germany or Norway or USA...but it can happen.

I knew the Canadian team was young, but wasn't aware that they were this young.

I guess a new nickname for the Canadian GK could be "Grandma KK." ;)

That'll be hard for her to do seeing as how they will be in a bunker. Like always. Bunker and "try" to get lucky on a counter.
When Canada plays the US, Hooper spends more time behind the ball than our keeper!

uh...times have changed since the gold cup. Canada has improved more than you'll ever know.
What about algarve huh?! No bunker for the canucks there! Took the US almost 90 minutes to get lucky and score.

lol im sorry but that's just funny! *damn stereotypes!*

And hey...Canada beat the US TWICE!! woohoo eh?! i know, but considering we've only had a real program for only almost 4 years, i'd say we're doin alright! And at least when we lose, we don't use some lame excuse like "they're more adapted to the cooler weather, that's why we lost."

excuse me now, I have to go and catch the next dog-sled home to my igloo, my dead raw sea will be on the table in 10minutes!!

    You saw that game?

4 years? so is that the excuse you make for all the sucking that went on before? That was an excuse right?

 who talked about the cold?

Did ya club the seal to death? :p

clubbed seal! LMAO Team Canada remembers what that was like!!!

    ::sticks her head in::

i believe auger9's comment about "they're more adapted to the cooler weather, that's why we lost." came from the almighty wendy gebauer when canada defeated the US 3-1 in columbus 2000 after the olympics.

wendy said that we (canadians) are more acclimated to the cold weather (it was flippin' cold in columbus during the game) and that's why we obviously played better. ya know, since toronto/vancouver/montreal/edmonton is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much colder than say michigan/MN/BUFFALO/alaska. lol
