Who is the most inconsistent Inter Milan player? Who do you think it is?

You asked who I (anybody) thought, and I think Zanetti. I didn't say you had to agree! :) I also thought of Toldo, but then I remembered he had some struggles (for him) early in the season. Van der Meyde hardly played (not saying he didn't deserve to). Materazzi, I guess was pretty consistent on the field now that you mention it, but I just can't ignore his postgame punchup with Bruno Cirillo (while not even dressed!) which resulted in a suspension of several games. Not being available to your team because of your own stupidity doesn't fit my idea of being consistent. But that's just my opinion.

    SueB ??????
    Javier Zannetti????

Surely you jest he may have his bad games but name any other high profile player that has played every single game for his team. Javier playes a consciencious game doesnt commmit himself too much so as to become over exerted or constantly injured but he is always there to track back and save the D from certain doom. As well as run up the flank to add another dimension to the attack as well as give the fowards a few rushes to regain their energy. He is the only player that I know of in the squad thinks of the others around him before himself. He unselfishly plays the ball to others even when he migh be in a better position. He is a seasoned veteran and without him Inter would be far worse off (hard to believe at the moment hey?)

The one bad thing I can say about him is that he kind of disapperars in big games he doesnt take up that strong leadership against big clubs that is required of him. Especially in the Milan derbies he kind of just sticks to his position but doesnt perform anything amazing as is required of him in these type of games

Most inconsistent player in my mind????
well at Inter we have plenty but clearly the one up for this award is.................RECOBA

Kily was a close second but he on the other hand consistently does crappy. While Recoba alters really good games with really bad ones

Oooooopss ..... how embarrassing. All I can say in my defense is it was very late at night ...... I read the question as who is the most CONSISTENT PLAYER!! Sorry. Well, now Power_of_foot thinks I'm a complete idiot and will never post here again. :D I have to say I thought his ideas of the most consistent player were pretty crazy, but it makes more sense now.

As for most INconsistent player, I'd have to go with Recoba as well.

Glad you came back even after my non-sensical first answers. The problem with Recoba is we've all seen how good he CAN be, but he only seems to show those flashes of brilliance about once every few games. Couple that with not getting many starts this year, and he only had one or two good games all season.

The reason why I am shocked is that I hardly ever heard people saying Recoba is the most inconsistent. Anyways, may be he is.
He is still an important player in Inter
