As for my 1/2cent worth, people always like the idea of running something, but never like to put the effort into it once they have to. It is the same everywhere, and if i was a "higher upper" in the SOB - i would be very very wary about having an "open meeting" and "elections" - you see what a f*** up we do when we elect politicians. IMO - the club should be ran by the same people, until they are happy with "replacements". Those replacements could be in a "committee" as such, but not take over. (although i am probably not saying anything new, and putting words in peoples mouths about that's what they want to do). As for:- Well that kilted guy you spoke about is the main person involved in heading to Portland (knightofkni). He'll probably be around at some point - just have patience. Hangovers can be a bitch to recover from.

i knew you were joking. jsut playing along. i got the train, but after i drove home and took the train inot the city. sobering up during the game is always a fun time. guzzling half a cooler of john daly on the train ride into the city was a bit irresponsible. though it did save me money at the bar.
Then obviously guzzling it was very responsible, financially speaking. I had 0 booze intake on Saturday
Okay, I have been talking to some TA's there actually cool enough to have a special room rate at a hotel that 15 blocks away maybe. at a 79$ rate. I'm personally unhappy with the tone of this discussion and the almost total absence of crude insults. And the use of scholastic words like "evidenced". Things just start to sound ridiculous at that point. We're just fans of a game and a team, after all. This should be pure fun right? Smells like moralizing in here...
