I was watching Pollock and the song at the credits is a great Tom Waits tune.

I am in the mood for Tom Waits around an hour every year, but when I am in the mood for Waits, I really am in the mood. I have one album, Small Change, which contains the great "The Piano Has Been Drinking".

Does anyone have any recommendations for Tom Waits CD's? I tend to like the cocktail Tom Waits, when he arguably tries to carry a tune, rather than the snarling, growling Tom Waits.

The Heart of Saturday Night would seem a good choice then, or Closing Time.

The albums Luan listed are his best IMHO.

    Small Change!

This is Tom Waits at his jazzy, boozy best. The Piano has been Drinking, Tom Traubert's Blues, and Invitation to the Blues ...
