I have a question about spring games. How do they work when teams play multiple games in one day? Do teams play with split squads or are the games shortened? I have attended spring games before, but never ones where a team plays back-to-back.

UMD will play three days of double game situations but they have 24 rostered players which isn't the norm. Sash plans to split the team into two sqauds and try to get most players around 80-90 minutes. Knowing him though if the games start to get too one sided some key players will play more. Again UMD is unique this year in that they can put out two full teams and still have a sub or two. I would think other schools would elect to shorten the game duration.
