LOL...the same clackity-clack comes from my knees. It's come in handy when singing the Chitty - Chitty Bang Bang song with Sofia.
This is what I do for a living Paisa... been in the 'printing business' for over 20 years... tough business.
No. My folks are down here in sunny florida. They were there about 20-25 yrs ago. I really never spent any time there, and I actually went to visit about 4 yrs ago for the first time in 20 yrs. I was told by my old folks that there were a lot of Colombian people in Newburgh back then and they used to do field trips all the time, play soccer and get drunk.............For what I hear, there's a large community of Black and mexicans over there, so it highlights a sharp contrast to the time of when I was born and my parents lived there. My brother went to the sacred heart school like in the late '70s and early '80's..... That's all I got for you my friend.
And the fact that you know who we are talking about tells me your no kid either.... . Most people in this forum only saw MJ Part II or Part III or Kobe or Lebron. They missed MJ Part I, Magic, Bird, Barkley, Drexler, Dominique....
actually this community is split 1/3 black-1/3 white-1/3 latino (mostly Mexican-Peruvian). Our home has a view of the Hudson and we actually love it! It's been gentrified quite a bit due it's location. We bought at a good time. I remember 'Rusvelt' as my dad would say being the Mecca for Colombians living in the US. That has changed qyuite a bit. Many Colombians still own businesses but mnay have migrated to NJ/CT/PA and West Coast.
Me llamo Gonzalo. New Jersey he conocido a muchos colombianos. Salu2! =) Metro
What is your occupation?-NSR I know, abit personal so feel free to discuss or not. Its your choice. Anyways so what is your occupation? Are you a lawyer? Doctor? Janitor? bum? or a full time student? I'm a retail suit Salesman and I go to College.
Re: What is your occupation?-NSR I like this... it breaks the ice between the poster nick name and makes us seem more like real human beings. I am the IT and Logistics Manager at my job, I work for a third party logistics company, what they call 3PL or TPL ( so... we handle all aspects of distribution/warehousing/inventory, etc for customers). I originally have a B.S in Computer Science but ended up involved with all aspects of the work of where i work that i went from being a clerk to administrative assistant, to some logistical work and then i started applying my programming and computer knowledge to improve tasks, etc... and I became the IT Manager, and as I got involved with more and more projects I also became the Logistics Manager... ( I always kept going to school, started business and economics) I took some time off this year, and will be going back to school next semester in pursuit of my supply chain management degree. Hopefully after that I can begin a masters in Global Logistics. oh... I was also the owner of www.nuestrofutbol.tv (that was a great time)
Re: What is your occupation?-NSR Truely was a great time, before all the justin tv etc. With your wonderful work, I was able to watch my favorite football in the world, something that in Israel I cannot see even with a satellite. LONG LIVE NUESTROFUTBOL.TV I think if we also mention our age, this could be nice. I'm 30 years old, my occupation is Insurance agent. I studied this profession few years ago and have been working in it since I was released from the Israeli army at the age of 21.

Re: What is your occupation?-NSR Jua, yo personalmente lo hice para seguir con la empresa familiar y porq desde pequeño me ha gustado mucho, es algo que requiere mucha dedicacion y un fervor hacia el trabajo, mucha gente lo estudia porq es la carrera que mas plata da, al menos aca en colombia es mas facil conseguir trabajo si eres un medico o estudiaste algo relacionado con la medicina, tambien estudian mucho Derecho y Administracion de empresas, de 30 compañeros en el colegio, 10 estudiaron derecho, 8 medicina, 7 administracion y los otros entre ingenieria mecanica e ingenieria quimica.
