Hey everyone, It's been a long while since I've been on these boards. Anyways, after seeing a few of the games and looking at everything people have said, I was wondering if trades could still be made. If so, I would like to get your input on the following proposal: Carolina: Gets Mcveigh, Misaki, and the Charge's 1st or 2nd round pick next year. Philadelphia: Gets one of Carolina's starting defenders --- I dunno, maybe Baxter?? I realize that I may be jumping the gun this early in the season, but right now I do not think it can get any worse for either of these two teams. The way I see it, Carolina would get a young playmaker who could learn under the tutelage of Hege Riise and a young defender who could learn under Overbeck. If McVeigh doesn't work out, they would still have the draft pick to select a defender. Philly would get a solid defender and still retain either their first or second round pick. Anways, please let me know what you think.
I don't think we'll see any trades here... misaki and mcveigh won't make up for Riise being lost.... and the charge defensive woes aren't just mcveigh... actually mcveigh has some very nice skills,
