From today's Dispatch regarding the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal matchup with Monarcas Morelia:

Why in the world would they do that? Does somebody have to catch a bus or something?

Depending on start time, this is one match I'll have to miss. I'm on vacation the next week and, with my work load, I can't be taking additional days off work. This is not a smart decision in my opinion, if it's true. And, if it is true, they might as well play at Obetz.

If they have a day game, they'll end up with the same attendance that the Quakes get for matches on the weekends [IMG]

Seriously, this is a BAD idea. WTF?? [IMG]

Is there something happening at CCS that night? What other reason would there be for the match not take place in the evening?

Could there be certain dates on which they are allowed to use the lights? I know that, and sound issues, were slight problems for last years WC viewing parties.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this thread is that the Crew were reverting to "Bunker Ball" for an upcoming match.

my only thought is they're trying to do some promotion with businesspeople in the Columbus area, and/or Columbus Public Schools having a possible field trip to a Crew game.
