Pretty normal for that to happen. Liverpool has sold on a lot of their best reserves or use them pretty frequently.. whereas Ipswich does not lol My city held the Leeds America convention this year. Got to meet Stu Dallas, the lads from the Square Ball and our leader, Paraag lol. ALAW! WACCOE!
LOL. Real España pulls an Alajuelense on Plaza Amador. I mean identical scenarios with matching results. La Makina pitó en Panama.
This is the Honduras 🇭🇳 squad to face 🇨🇷 🇭🇹, both at home. There is a chance they may qualify for the #FIFAWorldCup this window.🆕 Nayrobi Vargas (Mainz II 🇩🇪)🆕 Leonardo García Posadas (Hamburger SV II 🇩🇪)🆕 Deyron Martínez (Olancho 🇭🇳)Among those 🔙 are Kevin Arriaga… pic.twitter.com/j9lKggSdnO— The International Window (@windowintlpod) October 2, 2025
Good times to be a Leeds fan! Yeah Dallas is some type of Club ambassador now, I think. I must admit I am more of an armchair Leeds fan but the Premier League is where we belong... I get to a few games a season but some of my mates go most weeks. It's very difficult to get tickets at the moment but once the rebuild is eventually finished it should be a bit easier.
I used to try to go every season dating back to 2017. My good mate whose no longer with us anymore (fatal car accident in Hartlepool), used to go to Leeds University at York and his family were some season ticket holders since the 60s. So I'd make my way up and go to games thanks to his dad. Haven't been back since 2023. Hopefully I'll go next year.
No way, small world. Well, if you've been to Elland Road you know what it's all about. Ever since Bielsa it seems the energy about the club and the following has gone up a notch. Got my cousin coming over from San Pedro next month so trying to get to a get then actually.
Yea, I've been quite a few times. The one mile walk down the hill and all that bit. Apparently I'm a hit at the Peacock when I'm drunk. Great atmosphere really
Ha, that's funny you know the Peacock. Yeah you're getting the authentic experience in there alright, haha. The Leeds United fan base, and, Elland Road in general, is probably one of the few big clubs that retains it's identity as English football has become sanitised over the last decades.
Full 90 for el Misilito and 3 points for Levante away at Real Oviedo. Imagine if this guy went straight to Europe instead of the MLS. He has all the attributes for elite European football. 69 mins on the clock for Rivas out in Turkey. One positive ahead of these games has been his activity.
Alenis Vargas off the bench in the 67th minute, SJK won 2-1 in the 89th. Hopefully not having to travel for this international breaks helps him consolidate his position more.
Good to see Leonardo Posada and Nayrobi Vargas make it for camp, idk, this window is the most crucial window imo. Haiti and CR at home. We need 6 points.
It's the infamous Walter Lopez. Anywho, both teams look anemic. Sloppy play, no real flow to the game, a whole bunch of stop and start, but even when we seem to have the ball in possession, it's super slow in attack with zero ideas once we enter their third. Hopefully Rueda can make the necessary tactical adjustments at half.
Rueda just playing his favorites as always nothing will change for our offense. At this point Quioto should starting as our forward.
Man, we look awful in attack. Disjointed in the final third, while hanging on by a thread in the back towards the end of the match. Najar looked awful tonight. Seemed more like a liability than an asset. We have no choice but to beat Haiti at home to have a chance to qualify automatically.
That Rivas first goal was touch and go with the offside decision. The hunger is there and the Haiti defense have been really poor. I'm happy to see out a 3-0 goal margin at this point.
We need to keep the score or keep padding on the goals for GD. We close out qualifying on the road and I DON'T want to enter San Jose looking for a result.
Really pleased for Choco... I think I kind of knew he had a goal like that in him. First international goal for Rivas too, pretty overdue.
Rueda will 100% stay with this offensive line up for the rest of the WCQs, hopefully we can continue to rack up the goals this game and against Nicaragua who will be eliminated at that point.
