Carlos Pineda is a free agent and has interest from abroad, he will make his choice after the Gold Cup.

According to Diez, Alexy Vega has two legit offers from MLS clubs (rumored to be Minnesota and Toronto) but Marathon are not willing to sell him for anything less than 1 million $.

It goes to show you just how stupid our clubs are, Marathon are not competing for crap and Alexy is 27 years old and is not worth that amount all even Zaragoza were going to buy Kervin for around 500 thousand and he is proven player in the MLS.

Hopefully they cave and he can ends up getting transferred.

Are we all in agreement we could do with Auzmendi up top?

After what we witnessed in the Cayman Islands? Absolutely

Arboleda needs to go. Choco worst idea was to leave Spain for Mexico. His level has dropped.

Choco's career could nose dive depending on where he goes next.

100% we have had so many strikers flame out over the years it’s sad.

Rochez was never able to recover his form when he had his 10 goal season in 1st division Portugal and is a journeyman now, Choco was never a high volume striker and was lucky to have had all those years in La Liga, Rubi is mentally weak and messed up his own career after leaving Tondela in only his first year simply because he wasn’t happy, Darixon never hit that next level and has regressed, Douglas couldn’t cut it in the MLS after being given his chance, Eddie Hernandez couldn’t hang in Colombia, Benguche is a flop and only good enough for the local league etc..

We have the crappiest luck these past two generations.

Choco just isn't prolific enough, pure and simple.
I suspect Mexico was the best choice on the table and Spanish clubs would no longer take a punt on him.

From what I've seen Arboleda is the next best thing as forward able to hold the ball up. I still think he's worth it as an option off the bench, particularly depending on who we get drawn against.

Minnesota United are expecting more bids for Joseph Rosales this summer after the Gold Cup, they rejected an offer from a Serie A club in the winter which was rumored to be Roma.

He is still getting interest from Italian clubs and other Euro Leagues.

Luis Vegas father in a interview with Diez has confirmed that Romanian club Craiova where Denil Maldonado plays is not an option and are working with other clubs, his father wants him to play in Europe and stated that Luis had interest from the MLS and South America and also rejected an offer from Saprissa.

Ah, I was hoping he'd end up playing alongside Denil. That would have been ideal!

Palma should move to one of the other big Athenian clubs then hit the ground running in September.

Idk the Romanian League isn’t all that, even I hope that Denil will be able to move up to a better League this summer.

Since we didn’t land in Pot A this means that we will have to face one of Panama, Jamaica or Costa Rica as a direct rival to qualify to the WC when the groups are announced.

    News round up

Choco Lozano has stated that he will continue with Santos Laguna for next season

Rubi Castillo scores his second consecutive goal in Colombia coming in as a sub, hopefully he can get some form of consistency going forward

18 year old CB Jeffrey Ronaldo Ramos is rumored to have gained interest from Club Brugge and Deportivo Alves, Motagua also want to sign him to replace Luis Vega

Jorge Benguche reportedly has interest from Saprissa and Herediano

Eduardo Espinal told Benguche straight up that it's not in your best interest to leave for a other flop tenure abroad and that he should stay at Olimpia. I'm assuming he's tryna keep him so he can play the Copa Centroamericana.

Ramos is going to go on trial at Brugge. Obviously I don't expect much like Osorto when he went to trial at Gent.

Alexy Vega situation probably won't shake out till after Copa Oro. Hopefully he shows out and finds a place in MLS cuz at his age Europe might be too steep for him plus I doubt he meets a lot of requirements to stay out there

Also we have three players going on trial at Estudiantes in Argentina. Hopefully something comes of that but I doubt it for various reasons, but they're super young like U17ers.. 15 and 16 yr old. Just the exposure to a better brand of futbol will help surely.

Honduras lands in Group C with Costa Rica, Haiti and Nicaragua.

imo Costa Rica were likely the weakest of 3 heads

Looks like Alenis Vargas is getting decent minutes and contributions out in Finland.

Pretty sure they run on a different time frame to the rest of the European leagues so they're in full flow now.

Looks like a good move for him, if he keeps doing what he's doing he'll be a great addition for qualifying.

Speaking of WCQ, I could see some of these groups being decided on goal difference.

Group A might be out of luck with that one, the bottom 3 in that group are too similar in level and I see a bunch of ties there, Group B getting Bermuda practically guarantees massive goal differentials.

This is the worst organized Gold Cup of all time, why would they allow Univision to have the Spanish rights to both the CWC and GC they aren’t even going to show the Costa Rica game or Seattle game at all. So stupid.

This tournament is very important for many of our individual players, with Euro scouts eyeing Luis Vega and Joseph Rosales there is a possibility that others might catch interest for this transfer window.

Wouldn’t it have been better to have Denil play that position which he has done before and put either Vega or Montes at CB

Sure, but my problem is neither option offers anything substantial in attack like Najar does. We need a two way player at RB like Andy, and unfortunately we really don't have one unless you take a giant risk with Dixon or Santamaria.
