    Thank you.

PS - I cheered for Duke today. Kyle Helton had a heck of a day. It wasn't my fault. It will never happen again.

    Don't be a douche?

Courtney, thanks for stopping the thread about Terp the joke. You know i was going for the record number of posts to my own thread. What is the difference between when Terp Fan ridicules a Newbie and when a Newbie ridicules Terp? Why did you not stop Terp's threads when he made personal attacks on Newbies? I can give you at least 3 examples.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am thankful for my Cavs still being in the NCAAs. I am not thankful for stupid threads/posts about our *stupid* president. They do not belong here.

Your Cavs really did finish strong and wonderfully. Congrats to them on a great season and their ACC title. That said, I'm very happy that my Terps are still in it.

Oh yeah, I'd like to add my "Boo Duke" sentiments here by posting my heart-of-basketball-season avatar:

I'm really really proud of my guys. George went into the locker room all pissed off, but I really don't think he had any reason to be. Sure they lost today, but no one, myself included, expected them to even get to today. So hats off to them.

Next year should be exciting, and hottie Drew Harrison will be 18!

I messed up, my first post, I'll try this again. What are the R's? Thanks.

    coingoal,

"R" simply means that if you are are posting about a match that is happening at the moment (or in the last day or so, I guess) not to give away the result in the subject header of a new thread.

Instead, just name the thread something like "Indiana-St. John's NCAA final [R]" rather than "IU Wins Title!!"

[R]s are for RESULTS. People don't want to see results for games they are taping. So if you create a thread that contains or you expect to contain a RESULT, put and [R] in the subject. If you are including a score in a post, please make sure the thread has an [R] in the title. :)

    Re: thanks

We are NOT in elementary school. Stop with the finger-pointing and name-calling and accusations. If you have a problem with little Billy picking his boogers tell a teacher* rather than the whole class.

*I, your moderator, am the teacher in that example.

This would likely be due to all of the people who want to race home from work and watch the Matchtracker replay?

Discusssing non-relevant crap is the very soul and essence of BigSoccer.

BS could put Massengill out of business.

Finally!! Something everyone can agree on.

Not to tattle on anyone, but FYI, the UCSB-Duke thread probably needs an (R), although I'm sure that people will realize the game is being followed there.

It's cool, I'm out of town this weekend so I wouldn't have had a clue except there were like three different reported posts. But thanks.
