I'm skeptical about this business of threads being listed by popularity rather than date of last post. Will there be an option to stick to the standard listing?
If anyone still has doubts trust me, as someone who fears change, it's good. It won't take long for everyone to realise it's superior to the present BigSoccer.
Approx. how long will someone has to work on this to get used to it ? The adaptation time ? Is it the behind-the-scenes thing that is going to make a diff. or hte user's point of view ?! Can't wait to see the new one ..
Speaking of which, should we be backing up anything we want to keep in the event that said database does meltdown?
I was meaning in terms of avatars, signatures, private messages, guestbooks, links, etc. Will those migrate over or should we, as users, back-up anything we want to keep just in case...
