Let's see - I got the Man Utd Official History DVD and Beckham's new book as presents. And I bought myself a training top and my soon-to-be-newborn son an infant kit, a sleeper, and a "Onesy" (as my wife calls them).

Anyone get any cool stuff? I have yet to watch the DVD (FIFA 2004 taking its toll on my time right now) but I finished the Beckham book in no time flat. I must say, he comes off like a pompous a$$ a lot of the time and. what's so funny is that even though Becks is telling the story from his side, you can see why SAF wanted him outta there. Its an entertaining read for certain though.

    The Treble DVD?

Speaking of great gifts, does anyone know if "The Treble" is available on DVD and if so, where? I can only seem to find it on VHS. Needless to say it should be a lot of fun to watch.

You could also Google this: "The Treble" DVD United and it comes up with lots of stuff. This is R2 though; I don't think it will play in USA DVD players. Anyone able to confirm this?

And to all you mad Reds: Ebay: MANCHESTER UNITED CHROME CAR BADGE

I got the book written a few years ago by Mihir Bose. I have just started reading it.

Hey bigtoga, where did you find the infant kits. I need to get my daughter indoctrinated now. If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate it.

Well, I broke down and went through the hated, evil Kitbag. I tried every possible avenue to find them before having to resort to this though; I emailed every soccer company I could fine (Gimako, Eurosport, Subside - you name it...). If you go through the BigSoccer store and type in "infant" as your search criteria, you'll find it. Right now, the only thing anyone, anywhere has is the away kit (so that's what little "Seth" will get). Be warned though - Kitbag is evil and, in all likelihood, not going to be a positive experience at all.

Also, if you go through the MegaStore (from http://shop.manutd.com), there are lots more little things easily viewable (that are still available through BS' store). Go to the MegaStore and click on the "Home and Family" links. You can find lots of things for her room...

It looks like I'm part of the crowd. My lovely wife gave me a white Giggs 3rd shirt, long sleeve. It has the felt numbers & EPL patches. Very nice. Looks just like the 2 goal scorer against the Scousers.

By the way it came from www.soccerplus.net. A good outfit to deal with. Never will use the evil Kitbag again.

    Yes, Giggs rules.

On a side note, my friend told me that when he called the store to get the jersey, the girl on the phone said "uhh... you know David Beckham plays for Real Madrid know".

You are dead on with that comment. That is exactly what I thought while I was reading it. Although the book came from his side, I was in total agreement with SAF. The book was entertaining though. I especially liked the part where he is talking about Cantona and when they won the Champions League.

I got some great United videos for Christmas including United's 1001 Greatest Goals, 95-96 Season Review, Eric the King and Manchester United the official history. I also got the away jersey. I had an excellent Christmas.

Sure sounds like you had a great Christmas! I have that 1001 Greatest Goals and, after about 200, I sort of quit watching it! Too many goals lol

Oh - and I got FIFA 2004 for Christmas too. WOOOOOOHOOOOOO! So awesome - the crowd chants "UNITED! UNITED!" and they sing "Glory, Glory" - it's awesome!

    I got the 2004 Calendar.

Seeing Tim Howard on the official team calendar is quite pleasing for some reason.

I also got a couple of United Polo shirts (I like to wear them to work :) ) and the Black away kit with Scholes name and number with the gold EPL badges. (and they are in FELT!)

I also got a crest magnet. You know, it's the United club crest about a foot tall and wide on a flexible magnet so you can put it on your car or fridge, etc.

I got a 02-03 season review DVD and a photo autographed by RVN and Keano. As a gift to the family, my dad got these prints that were memorable moments in the Treble. One is Giggs right after the FA Cup goal, Becks after a free kick in the Spurs game to clinch the League, and Ole right after his goal.
