Even though it is about a WUSA signing, good to see the W-League get a mention: Mexico's all-time leading scorer joins Atlanta ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Beat signed Mexican national team player Maribel Dominguez on Wednesday. The forward is the first Mexican-born player to sign with the Women's United Soccer Association. Dominguez played with the W-League's Kansas City Mystics last year and led the league with 46 points and 12 assists en route to MVP honors. Dominguez played in the 1999 Women's World Cup and is Mexico's all-time leading scorer.
