So I am in the midst of doing an MLS stadium tour, and Providence Park is my next planned stop. Was hoping for a little advice from the locals on a few things. 1) I'm looking to make my way up there in the early part of the season (April/May). Is there a particular time of the year that you all would recommend. 2) In a perfect world, I'd like to get an actual physical ticket stub from each stadium, but if I buy online, I can only get the electronic tickets. Do you guys have a secondary ticket exchange among fans that I can get in on? 3) Where should I sit? 4) Restaurants or Bars around the stadium that you all would recommend? Would appreciate any advice/input that you all might be willing to provide.
1) March, April, and May are all about even in terms of weather. Slightly warmer in May timeframe, but not tons. 2) Many season ticket holders use a credit-card like thing, so even in a ticket exchange it may be hard to get a physical stub. There are secondary exchanges around, but I don't know where they are. 3&4 I'll leave to others. I also suggest asking on reddit, because this forum is mostly dead: https://www.reddit.com/r/timbers/
