George W. Bush 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Washington, DC Dear Governor Bush: So today is what you call "the moment of truth," the day that "France and the rest of world have to show their cards on the table." I'm glad to hear that this day has finally arrived. Because, I gotta tell ya, having survived 440 days of your lying and conniving, I wasn't sure if I could take much more. So I'm glad to hear that today is Truth Day, 'cause I got a few truths I would like to share with you:
Just about what one would expect from Moore. A few grains of truth. Way over the top. Mostly funny. Kind of inappropriate, I think. The situation calls for more seriousness. But hey, Moore knows no one in the political mainstream takes him seriously so what's he got to loose playing the fool?
Michael Moore can't possibly believe all the factual inaccuracies he printed in that piece. Then again, after the countless lies he tells in his documentaries, he's not above it. Plus, Moore is a hypocrite of the highest order.
Michael Moore is the guy who implied after 9/11 that it would have been OK if anti-Bush terrorists had hit buildings in pro-Bush states to protest the Florida fiasco. Enough said.
He's our side's Ann Coulter. Deal with it on that level. Please note how much respect he gets from the mainstream, then compare it to Ann. At least Moore made "Roger and Me," which means he's accomplished more than Coulter ever will.
michael moore (ironic name) should worry about "bigger" issues. like his impending heart attack. i can see where his book earnings have gone.
Moore is far, far more left-wing than Coulter is right-wing and far more out of the mainstream than is Coulter.
You joking? "Roger & Me" was fun to watch. But, to find out that Michael was driving around Flint in a foreign car while all the while railing on General Motors was laughable and sad.
You mean like when Ann said we should invade Muslim countries and convert them at gunpoint? Or when she said it would be a good thing if the NYT building had been hit by the 9/11 planes? (I think it was the NYT, but it was something similar, in case someone wants to bust me on the fact-check.)
Pass the Dutchie: Alex, the Musical Youth... Puff puff GIVE...you're not supposed to horde all the crack...
She's never, as far as I know (and call me out if I'm wrong), said anything like this other than on this one incident, which she wrote just days after 9/11. And her judgement at that point in time may have been slightly clouded by the fact that her best friend (CNN reporter Barbara Olson) was on board the plane that hit the Pentagon. If you can find an equally nutty quote from a time when she was not going thru this kind of personal crisis, I'll be happy to agree with you. But the fact is that her views are far more in line with the average American's than are Moore's. Alex
Which, of course, explains why Stupid White Men beat the living crap out of Slander to be the best-selling non-fiction book in the USA in 2002, and is still on the NYT best seller list after 48 weeks. And it has sold 300,000 copies in the UK and is still the top-selling non-fiction book in Australia. Yep, Moore's not mainstream at all.
Why does anybody care what a former boxer has to say. Sure he was Heavyweight champ but he got his ass knocked out by a grill salesman.
You want nutty Ann Coulter quotes? There are entire websites dedicated exactly to this: Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now. -- from Slander She also says in Slander something that makes Michael Moore look good: Liberals pretend to believe that when two random hoodlums kill a gay man in Oklahoma, it's evidence of a national trend, but when a million people buy a book, it proves absolutely nothing about the book-buying public. God gave us the earth. We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, 'Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours.' -- Hannity & Colmes, 6/20/01 When contemplating college liberals, you really regret once again that John Walker is not getting the death penalty. We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors. -- Speech to Conservative Political Action Committee. January 2002 I could go on, but I need to get back to collecting my welfare checks.
I make no apologies for Ann Coulter, but Micheal Moore is a moron and a total farce. If anyone saw his disasterpiece "bowling for columbine," then you may know what im talking about. In his animated short "the history of America" he boiled down white people into a single group: racists who hated, and killed blacks and indians. He claimed all whites owned slaves because they were lazy. I'm no racist, and i have never killed anyone and apparently he never studied the civil war, or the abolitionist movement. Moore is way off base;a sensationalist who has chosen to overlook and to decieve. He then tried to link Lockheed Martin to the Columbine shooters. Way to go Moore. Why do people pay creedance to this hypocrite? I wonder if his bleeding heart can survive a couple more cheese steak sandwhiches.
Jeez, quoting from the IRA newspaper, An Phoblacht? (http://lark.phoblacht.net/stupid.html) Then, this has got to be true!
Got to tell you I didn't bother reading his post. I have seen him before, and heard his bullshiite trying to be funny before. Why would I want to read what he wrote he is a nobody. Sorry
Remember when Michael Moore said his only regret about Timothy McVeigh was that he didn't blow up the New York Times building? I'm surprised he can even show his face after that one. I'm serious. Google "My only regret about Timothy McVeigh" if you don't believe me.
Re: Re: Pass the Dutchie: Alex, the Musical Youth... Bastard. Had to reboot and hang the old keyboard up to dry.
