Towns that have BOTH A-league teams and MLB... Seattle Atlanta Cincinnati Milwaukee Minnesota Montreal Pittsburgh Toronto How can you compete with MLB, bigger stadiums, TV, Sportcenter, etc. in these markets? I believe it IS more difficult to promote A-League soccer in a town where there are 81 chances to see a Major League Baseball game. The very fact that MLB is the "highlest level of play" for baseball makes the challenge these cities face more difficult than A-League towns with Minor-League baseball teams. So who "seems" to be doing the best at surviving with a MLB team nearby? 1. Montreal---well, the Expos fiasco is well-documented.Impact have momentum! 2. Minnesota---They have made a niche. 3. Milwaukee---seems a supportive soccer area. 4. Seattle---Loyal fans, But Mariners rule here. 5. Toronto---Linx and 'Jays---different fans? 6. Pittsburgh---'Hounds & Bucs both struggle. 7. Atlanta---This is NOT a sports town! (Winners Only Need Apply) 8. Cincinnati---Could Griffey get injured for 'Hawks, too? Try him at CenterBack!
