Where is the final? Richmond, Milwaukee or a neutral site?

The stadium is the Milwaukee Rampage Soccer Complex, located in a somewhat rural setting south of Milwaukee.

Capacity is listed at 5,000, but in reality less than half of those are seated. There are bleachers (10-13 rows) on one side of the pitch only. The other sides have grass hills.

As for ticket availability, I have not checked yet. But I would guess tickets will still be available on game day. Since they only have a limited number of "seats" to sell and the rest is general admission (sit on the grass), I would guess they won't reach any kind of "capacity".

Just my guess. When I find out more about ticket availablity I will post.

Just to add a little more info, the stadium complex is located in Franklin, WI, which is about 15 minutes south of the airport if you are coming in by plane. Without traffic, probably a little more than an hour from O'Hare in Chicago.

If you can, I would buy tix before you arrive. Milwaukee will do a good job a getting people out to the game.

Based on getting all but one result wrong so far in these playoffs, I'll refrain from a prediction. That way, I won't jinx who I want to win.

In today's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (www.jsonline.com), an article says that 7500 tickets will be open for sale.

The sports complex is located at the intersection of 60th St and Ryan Road (WI 100). About 7-10 minutes south of Mitchell Int'l Airport. You probably don't want to fly into O'Hare and drive. The traffic is always heavy on I-294 and unpredicable. There will be a good crowd for this game. The Brewers suck and they are out of town for the rest of the year. Wisconsin Badgers don't play this weekend in football. Milwaukee will come out and support a winner.

  11. here's some ticket info for the final, and i highly suggest getting tickets before game day:

Reserved ticket prices for bleacher seats on the west side of the stadium will be $20, and general admission grass seating on the north, south and east sides of the field will be $15. Group tickets will be $12, available for general admission only.

Tickets are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the Rampage Sports Complex, 6000 W. Ryan Road in Franklin, or by calling the Rampage office at (414) 448-5425.

Beer drinking passes are available for an additional $15.

But what's the price with your UKROP'S card?

How much does a Rampage tickie normally go for? $8/6 gets you in the Kickers.

Having lived in different states, different cities, and having seen many different teams play, I have to say that Wisconsin sports fans are really quiet (except for maybe the Packers fans). I've gone to a number of Rampage games and comparatively, it is eerily quiet. While attendance should be high, don't expect the place to be rocking. It is to bad because the games lack a strong atmosphere.

you are right it is pretty quiet but i went to the semfinal game and brought a drum set, trombone and banjo and 15 people. i already have pretty good group going again and more instruments. we had a great time and will be at the final most likely on the hill so if you and anyone else are looking to get rowdy come kick it with us. hopefully we will add a little atmosphere to the game.

Beer drinking passes? Is this buying beer or just the right to be able to buy beer? Just curious.

Lucky that you got a job during college that you like. I am down in Chicago working post college. Probably grad school in fall 2003. Good news is that am going to a lot of Fire games and many Rampage games too. I am trying to get some people to go the game Saturday night. Maybe we can make the atmosphere a little better.

  22. yeah that job IS a lot of fun...i worked the Milwaukee Wave Summer Camps this summer and that was tons of fun too...that's cool that you get to go to a lot of games and stuff....bring people saturday and get rowdy! haha

i got about 30 some rampage fans coming. 2 drum kits, trombones, trumpets, a banjo, so if you wants to get rowdy by all means come join us and we will give that poor park some atmosphere. look for us we will most likely be on the hill wearing wacky hats clothes etc and of course we will have instraments.

Boro has copmlained about the quiet atmoshpere a few times this season. It's my guess he was the one behind the all-you-can-drink idea (BTW it's good from 5-9). Get them drunk and loud.

I'll probably join you WBWIZ. The guy I'm going with is from England, so he should be used to making lots of noise.
