The man (and his woman) deserves all our special kudos for running our our prediction league (despite my suspicions about how he always ends up near the top :) ). I can only guess at all the headaches he's had to go through to keep this going the last two years.

If I ever get to to DC and a United game, I intend to buy him a beer or two.

(This of course is a ploy to get him to do it again next year. ;) )

    Seriously, though, thanks.

    True dat.

I've become an even bigger MLS fan because games are more exciting now that I have something at stake in them. None of this added excitemnent would have been possible without JLo.

I thank you for all the hard work that you've put into it. It must have been especially hard this season with all the BS crashes.

    Thanks,
    Matt

This is my 2nd year doing BSWPL, and it amazes me how steadfast jlo has been at the task, especially this year with all the technical snafus.

Thanks, jlo! And praise to The Mrs. I am sure all that time jlo devoted to WPL could have been spent with him watching chick flicks, bringing you Cheetos, and painting your toenails - please be aware your sacrifice has been our gain.

If there is a soccer field in heaven, I feel confident you both will get front row seats.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words. I'm glad to know that somebody is enjoying our little pet project.

FlashMan, the jury is still out on next year. I don't know how successful we would be in getting meaningful participation in this new forum. There doesn't seem to be much traffic here.

Thanks. It's this kind of stuff that puts the Big in Bigsoccer.

Although I joined late (even though ISocFan told me about it in the very beginning, I just completely forgot about it, before I remembered again), I really enjoyed it.

    Thank you very much.

    Looking forward to next year.

I had a blast in my 1st year. I was hoping to move into the first division to finish the year, but I just missed it. I might be better next season if I could just pick with my head rather than my heart when it comes to my Metros (I picked them to win every week). As for participation, I don't think we'll have to worry about that too much. When the time comes, I'll do a bit of advertising on the USMNT forums, and I'm sure the MLS forum mods will let an announcement post stay up. For that matter, when we had the sticky post with links to all the prediction threads it seemed to work the best. If the complaint about this game being on the main forums is that the actual prediction threads clog up the place, why can't we use this forum for the prediction threads (keeping them from cluttering) and keep the sticky thread on the main forum? It seems like that would work out best for everybody.

Jacen, I think that is a great idea. Could you clear it with the MLS board moderators? It might be better received coming from a fellow moderator.
