I worked for 11 years side by side with a colleague who had learned radio engineering in the Navy as Thomas something before trans surgery. Her lover, who struggled mightily with the relationship, was scrupulously careful to not use male gendered terms around her at all-- as was the ex-lover who shepherded her through the transition, sort of teaching her how to be female. The ex-lover was perhaps a trifle less careful...

This may not be an accurate statement. Based on my son and his friends, the use of "Bro" and "Bruh" are gender neutral for GenZ.

Charlie was highly regarded outside Ann Arbor and other such places. Not accepting him as a brother in Christ is why we keep losing elections.
