That's the problem with trolls. They instigate shit and then complain when people react. I went skating with my 12-y-o daughter at an outdoor rink on Boston Common last weekend. This idiot in a Chiefs jersey was walking around (with his buddy videotaping) with a poster that said Mahomes was better than "Bradey" (sic). Naturally, a few people begged to differ, including a group of 5-6 young meat-heads who could have been stand-ins on the Jersey Shore. I told one of them that even though the guy may deserve a good beat-down, he was the one who would get arrested when someone calls the cops, and he would get into legal trouble and have to pay fines, etc. Finally one of his saner buddies pulled him away. I told the Chiefs fan that next time he might not be so lucky and he should smarten up if he didn't want his ass kicked, especially over something as stupid as sports trash-talk. And that he should at least learn to spell the GOAT's name correctly.
Gun chick is just another troll-grifter who has been trying to pivot to the big time for years now. She has pulled loads of stunts like this. There are lots of these clowns. The woman who chained herself to the twitter building being one of the other obvious ones.
Someone shot a bunch of people somewhere. I'm presuming without any research whatsoever that it's a racist white male. It always is. I'm too numb to be outraged anymore unless it's in an orphanage or something.
Do you mean the shootings in Germany Yeah, it was a Far Right white supremacist who hates arabs. There's a lot of backlash going on over there over Europe's changing demographics
No one cared enough when an elementary school was shot up. Why would an orphanage cause any difference?
One of the colleges in my town had a bunch of students that wanted to start a chapter of Turning Points USA. Their college wouldn't fund it. The word "clowns" appeared in the official reason. And a few professors offered to fund a legitimate conservative study group for conservative students. Last I heard, none of the TPUSA students showed any interest. It's all about the trolling.
Thoughts and prayers: Hearing about huge layoffs at NRA HQ in Fairfax. One employee is telling me it was “everyone”. That might be overstated but this apparently is massive folks.— Ben Tribbett (@notlarrysabato) April 7, 2020
Federalist Society prez at Harvard Law cleans his gun during a Zoom lecture Harvard Law School students were startled on Wednesday when, during a class held over Zoom, a student brandished his gun on-screen. The student, Chance Fletcher, is the president of the HLS chapter of the Federalist Society, a conservative legal network. Its longtime leader, Leonard Leo, advises President Donald Trump on judicial nominees; a majority of Trump’s appellate judges are members of the group. Several of Fletcher’s classmates immediately noticed the firearm, which at first he appeared to be cleaning. One student who immediately saw the weapon told Slate Fletcher then began “cocking it back and looking inside the barrel” and “practicing to make sure it clicks.” https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2020/04/chance-fletcher-federalist-society-harvard-gun.html

I dedicate that article to the country's Susan Sarandons, who pout and whine that their preferred candidate doesn't win the primary, and then lie like hell that both remaining candidates are the same. Elect a Democrat, any Democrat, and you'll get movement on gun control. Elect a Republican, any Republican, and you won't get movement on gun control. It works like that for a whole lot of issues. Climate change. Minimum wage. Expanding health care. And so forth.
I liked Mike alright. I think I am allowed to say that now that he has dropped out and will be giving Biden $$$. Would have had my head bitten off for writing that 6 weeks ago, though.
Why did you "like Mike alright"? Not trying to bite anyone's head off, but I am curious what he offers that you like. His gun control initiatives are great, but he can absolutely do that without getting close to the presidency.
He's all aboard to defeat Trump, he's putting his money to work to do that, and the Club for Growth criticized his mayoral record. He is fine for a Republican. Not one of my lead choices for the Dem nomination, though. I tolerate most politicians. I save my enemies list for a relatively small group, the ones who are outright evil.
Oh, if those are your criteria, I agree. Everyone is all aboard with defeating Trump. If the Club for Growth is against it, I am probably for it. Agree about being "find for a Republican" but he is running as a Democrat. He is not evil, just pretty awful.
My standards have done way, way, way, way down since November 2016. Any politician who is not a corrupt degenerate sociopath automatically gets 3 points on my 1 to 10 scale.
Maybe not that many that are all three but certainly most politicians are at least one of the three you mentioned.
