We lost - and not only that, but we didn't score a friggin' goal all game long. Last year's team won their first game, and scored 3 goals while doing it. Proof positive that last year's team is miles better than this year's straggling bunch, and that Octavio Zambrano is three times the coach Bob Bradley ever will be.

    BRADLEY OUT!

Mike Magee - Can you say Biggest. Metro. Flop. Ever. Look kid, if you're not going to come in your first game and score a couple spellbinding goals, then just stay in high school, got it? We're not the patient kind around here.

    MAGEE OUT!

Clint Mathis - could have pulled a lounge chair up in midfield. You and Jaime Moreno have us longing for the days of Michael Butler and Cordt Weinstein.

    MATHIS AND MORENO OUT!

Jacob Leblanc - We don't need your freedom-hating kind around here, Frenchy!

    LEBLANC OUT!

Eddie Pope - Supposed to shore up the defense. A shored-up defense doesn't give up goals. Just look at Man United or Real Madrid; no one scores on them unless they've scored 4 or 5. Get with the program.

    POPE OUT!

Joey DiGiamarino - Nice job, in your first game back in the league after two years of virtual retirement. Nice job for a blind, quadraplegic dwarf with lupus.

    DIGIAMARINO OUT!

    METRO FRONT OFFICE OUT!
    NICK SAKIEWICZ OUT!
    NJSEA GOONS OUT!
    ESC OUT!

I agree also, and we do need a guy like Cordt Weinstein on the team comming off the bench.

Somehow even with our bad defenders we still won a lot of balls in the last game. How many counter attacks did we have after them? Cordt might be Richie Williams little, but he can move like the wind on a counter.

Actually I am only partly kidding. We did win a lot of balls we should have got some counters off them.

Not only is this guy French, he's French-Canadian! That makes him scumbag(squared).

And you forgot to mention the horns, with all the bleating, I could barely hear the witty "You suck, *********************" chant.

Oh, and F Harrison. I'm tired of waiting 60-90 days for our stadium. I say if they don't put a shovel in the ground before June, we should move the team to the Mohegan Sun Casino.

And for oldtimes sake, F Jeff.

this is the meanest thing i've ever seen written in my entire life. Give him a break... or at least a few games to get into the whole mls thing. and.. .another thing, as the players were walking off the field into the tunnel after the game... fans were yelling at them and being really harsh. Enough with heckling your own team! How bout a little support for a young team. Anything could effect these kids egos.. negatively or positively.

You know what my biggest gripe is? The fact that if you don't put one of these ( ;) ) at the end of your posts, there is always some retard that thinks you're serious!

I thought Clark, Williams, Mathis, Pope, Jolley played well. I actually thought Clark was MOTM. The rest of the guys, crap.

I gotta say that I thought Williams was MOTM for the metros. He was running all 90 minutes, intercepting passes everywhere, and did you see how high he jumped to win all those headers. Mathis was a bit lazy in midfield, if hes going to just stand around and complain he should play foreward. Jolley I thought was very strong in the back, nobody was getting past him. Moreno has great skill with the ball at his feet but couldnt find anyone to cross to. We really need to start pushing foreward. We played too defensive that game. DiGiamarino came up once in a while on the flank but that was it. And he really needs to work on his crossing if hes gonna do that. I hope we can get it together before its too late.
