Not in the Dallas area, but I believe Northside has said he knows hwere you can get it in Austin. On another note, if you want Carlsberg really badly, just go on holiday to Europe. Its every where.

I prefer the new version of the Doncaster shirt:

I think the red on the side makes it less candy-cane. Although this takes it even closer to Chicago of course.

Really would've liked red/blue stripes though.

Maybe I'm a bit bias as I just got back from living in Hamilton. The top did go well with the white shorts though.

Please, Pleeeease don't be a sideways Chivas!

As Northside has poignantly pointed out (say that five times without spitting on your computer screen), let's be unique.

Pumas beat Atlas yesterday by 4-3....and ...damn! those Pumas uniforms again reminded me why FCD should get those for away kits:

With due consideration for the MLS 'white on the road' policy...

Would a very light silver or grey work for MLS. Yellow obviously flies. Why wouldn't a very light silver or grey with a little blue work too? It would serve to maintain a color contrast, and it serve to keep the FCD kits a bit distinctive in the pretty standard MLS (especially in light of addidas taking over all uni's eventually).

Is there any potential in this? Anyone else like the idea?

    Sigh!

The red and black looks 1,000 times better than the silver and blue.

3rd Degree / Buzz has reported that this is a possibility - that the idea has been proposed and is being considered. Why it takes so long to decide on uniform colors I have no idea. The UN can define what is a terrorist quicker than MLSHQ can approve one loust teams away uniform designs.

But take nothing from the MLS Uniform Nazis. They are all powerful and their power knows no boudaries.

Silver woudl be very nice. Shawnee silver at that. But I am not counting on it. A case of Shiner Blonde to the Inferno if that uniform ever sees the field. I hope I have to pay off.

Yeah, but can conventional warfare counter terrorists, delude us to finding WMD, while listening to DMB - and watching DMB...

GE says the usually run in production time from a decision to change to jerseys on the fields and in the stores is 15 months.

The colors have been chosen it's just a matter of jumping through all the production hoops.

GE also promised either a couple players modeling the new uni's or drawings of them at the holidays.

I don't like silver but its better than white and will not clash with anyone's home colors. Still think we should have a blue away kit with one red hoop at the top, like France (I hate them but that'd be good).
