Damn....where I can see the fashion show! Was it with the ladies from Victoria's Secret? Anyway...now it's the IN thing in Europe and Mexico. El Chapu de Chapus El Chapulin Colorado
So the sponsor's logo is going on the front now as well? White shorts is the way to go. Oh and add a collar. radioshack still going to be the sponsor of Fc Dallas?
What is FC Dallas' new silver color called again? This would be a good choice. A light color but unique to MLS and mostly the world as PSG is the only team I can think of that uses silver on their alternates. Maybe really unique if they used silver and white hoops, white shorts and silver socks. Would look good with those silver Adidas cleats like Mr. Spicegirl wears.
The Fire have unveiled their new 3rd jerseys...Just thought it was interesting http://chicago.fire.mlsnet.com/MLS/...ent_id=17394&vkey=news_chf&fext=.jsp&team=chf
Interesting...yes... What are those red ....things.....red nipple tassels? or http://www.truffle.me.uk/IMAGES/TeaseMeImages/nippletassels.jpg What happened to the Monarcas-Fires 3rd Jersey? El Chapuliln Colorado
Shawnee silver. Yeah....I was thinking along the same lines for away kit....how about something like Pumas new uniform: That's kinda of silver, ennit? Maybe silver-ish and red trims? El Chapulin Colorado
Will the five new Adidas MLS teams for next spring have their uniforms in time? And will they be "cookie-cutter" styles that simply have different color schemes? "The new teams (Chivas USA, Colorado, FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake and San Jose) will have their uniforms done in time, says an MLS source. "Things normally done with a nine-month or 12-month lead time have been cut to five months to get it done," the source says. "We will have product on the market for fans too." As for the uniform designs, they will follow the template for Adidas' global designs, which include between six and eight different styles. From those styles, MLS teams will stamp their own identities on them through colors, badges and other unique details. Emphasizes one MLS source: "We're not gonna look like a rec league where all our teams are wearing the same uniform with just their names being different." MLS' $150 million shot in the arm Adidas' 10-year sponsorship deal absolutely huge for state of U.S. soccer Posted: Friday October 22, 2004 12:12PM; Updated: Friday October 22, 2004 1:27PM by Grant Wahl Does this mean no hoops? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writers/grant_wahl/10/22/adidas.deal/index.html
funny you should mention that.. GE has said something fairly similar about using silver as an away or third kit.
Just as long they make sure that they do a test to see how the look once the get drenched with sweat. Remember the Mavericks failed experiment with their cool shiny third color unis last year.
Good memory. They looked like Nate Newton's silver gray Cowboy pants on a hot September afternoon. Yuck!
I've broken the seal and have finally gotten in to ask questions as me and my family are from West Texas and don't know a whole hill of beans about big city soccer. If I'm going to buy my boy a FC Dallas shirt uniform for Christmas, can you tell me where I can get one and what they look like? Thanks.
we mentioned that when GE said it (at the FC Dallas unveiling) and he said it wouldn't be that same failed look.
I don't think FC Dallas kits will be available by Christmas, sorry. At this point we will be lucky to have them by opening day 2005. You can buy a T-Shirt or baseball cap with the FC Dallas logo on www.fcdallas.net
It was very nice. I tried to find a pic on line but was not able to. I have one on my machine that is getting fixed... If I find it I will share.
No it does not. As I wrote a week ago (or so) Adidas has come back to FCD with a hoops design. They are not final, but it is the stop in the right direction. As Elliott said they are pushing hard on Adidas that they have Jerseys for fans for the Frisco opening. No I have not seen them.
Coincidentaly, I think, there has been a Crystal Palace jersey being advertised alongside the Burn page for a couple of days now. It seems to follow the color scheme described. While the stripes are vertical, it seems in line with what has been predicted. I guess it could go sideways, (I guess that is what you mean by hoops) like a Flamengo jersey except the black substituted for blue. With white shorts, this could be a distinctive and elegant look either way you go.
Red and white stripes. Great. I guess we're going for the candy cane look. Hey, we should have called the team "The Mr. Peppermints". The original Mr. Peppermint was from dallas and you got to admitt "The Mr. Peppermints" is a better name than Real Salt Lake.
I hope we get the red shorts and socks. I think that gives the uniform some class and style. And , with the silver road unis we will indeed be unique. Now if we could just get a new coach! W hoops! Sorry about that. I just couldn't resists.
