Off the cuff here, but as I understand it the current Arsenal crest was created as a sort of graphic design efficiency solution to a problem the previous crest created whenever it was reproduced in certain formats. Meanwhile, the cannon is simple, clean, and loved by every Gooner I know. But I don't live in England, so I don't pretend to know what the whole of North London feels about the crest vs. the cannon. But I am curious. Are the past few seasons of featuring the cannon on 2 of the 3 kits some sort of ploy to shift from one to the other slowly and deliberately over time?
That kit and that specific green with navy sleeves would be an instant buy for me. But probably not with the white sleeves. But mainly because I liked the kit on the right that we barely wore as a third kit a few years ago, but I absolutely loved the lifestyle version on the left that Adidas released.
It reminds me of a minor league hockey team doing a special St. Patrick’s Day jersey. I’d only buy a game-worn one.
The FootyHeadlines "leak" looks like a version being sold on Asian knockoff websites The 3rd posted above is also being sold on those websites The away knockoff currently available looks much more like the original "bruised banana"
Starting to feel look this will be the real home kit next year. 🚨 Arsenal’s home kit for the 2026/27 season. ✅👕🕵️♂️ @opaleak pic.twitter.com/vx0zrRPRks— afcstuff (@afcstuff) March 31, 2026
Love the trim on the sleeves and collar, hate the different coloured Adidas shoulder stripes. If those 3 shoulder stripes were either all burgundy or all red it would be much better.
I wonder if the color variance is a motif adidas is doing across multiple teams like they did with the stupid blue stripes on the back of the shorts last year that couldn't be worn in the NLD.
The Wright-Rocastle tribute had different color stripes and switched between shoulders God I cannot communicate
Maybe so. I just noticed Belgium’s new warmup kit with similar mixed colors in the stripes. BUT their match kit had monochromatic stripes.
I grabbed the all red pullover at the Adidas flagship store in London earlier this week. Cannon, no emirates, done.
Because it'll mark 140 years since the founding of the club, they should've changed the main shade of red (burgundy/bordeaux/redcurrant).
Slightly weird shoulder stripes, but classic enough that I'd be OK with it. Never like white socks, but thankful there's at least a little red on them. Are we gonna see that before the month is done?
Not a fan of white socks. Prefer mostly red or hoops. Would prefer that the stripes be all the same color. Most likely the darker red since the other accents are the darker.
Man, I sure hope not. In fact, I highly doubt it. That seems like something you do to start looking forward to next season. The lads aren't done wearing THIS season's kit, in my opinion.
Yes, that’s what I was referring to above. Not only the last day of the EPL, but I wondered about the UCL final.
