After seeing the new home & away in preseason.....

Home - while its less than ideal it looks solid in action
Away - still hate the weird patches. Now I HATE the collars too. Color is fine but the shape is bad. Many of the players look like they are wearing stretched out V necks.

Agree about the collar. Really noticeable tonight.

I don’t like either kit TBF. And the curvy stripes on the shorts look dumb… on both kits

The shorts either needed a red stripe, not blue, or a really thin stripe.

Its not only a really really shitty template, but EVERYONE has this shitty template. I hope Arsenal send Adidas a proper please explain over this.

If the black and gold kit from 2 years ago was a way for Arsenal to print money, then this years home and away kit is the opposite.
I couldn't pick up an away kit in my size from 2 years ago anywhere.

If we went undefeated this season and won the league and the UCL I still wouldn't buy either of these kits.

The home kit looks better in person

The shorts are the killer. Make the blue stripe red, or make the blue stripe really thin and it would get a pass from me.
But there is just way too much blue on the shirt. It should have been thin piping on the shirt and shorts.
Its not only a lazy template but it looks like someone did a "create a kit" from Pro Evo or FIFA.

I see other people do "fantasy" Arsenal kits with currently templates and it doesn't take much to fix them.

Yesterday, I saw some of the Jamaican fans at the Olympic track and field venue wearing the Arsenal warm up shirt from last year

Adidas: "Simpleton, it takes a lot of creativity to use a colored crest on this Bayern kit."

The new 3rd kit is official. Maybe that's old hat but I just saw an email from the club today, which showed a relatively subtle, tasteful light blue shirt.

Haven't seen the rest of that 3rd strip, but even if it's not very Arsenal-y, I might like it more than kits 1 & 2. Sad that.

    Or the Adidas team
It just occurred to me that this is a goalkeeper shirt, not a warm up shirt. Goalkeeper kits are often the same from one team to another. This one just happens to look like a pajama top. Maybe that was your primary complaint and not that it was reused for several teams?

If they put the black and white trim from our away kit onto this shirt and made the collar trim thinner it would be an elite away kit.

Adidas have dropped the ball this season.

I don't know about "elite" but it may atleast be better than the current one. Honestly, if they were determined to go with the crazy black & white pattern on our away, I would prefer they make it a much more prominent part of the kit. Current design makes it look like a mess or an afterthought. If the entire kit was that pattern it would atleast look more unique, creative & intentional.

Athletic ranks our away 20th in EPL. Been thinking more about my comment above. Dont quite have the skills to make a mockup but what if.....

    - leave shorts & socks as is
    - on the jersey..... Reverse the black & white/black sections so that the primary color/pattern is the white/black fabric. You can keep the red & green accents and would likely switch the sponsor as well as name & number to red and/or green.

FWIW..... I like the black version of the GK version vs the yellow that was released as the primary option

Best thing about our new home. Kit is solid red socks. Could do without the large Adidas logo though.

Just watching WHUFC-AVFC and have to say I really like West Ham’s shirts this year. Simple, clear, traditional, better, Umbro. :)

The more I see of the Adidas template that many teams are wearing, I don’t care for it. Of course, I’ll get used to it.

Edit: just saw Bowen interview in their training top, which is fairly hideous. :p

Even the commentators last night were pointing out the horrid blue stripes on our home shorts and said they looked like a harness.

    Thanks for nothing, Adidas.
