I just watched the Auba+Wrighty walk & talk video, and I found myself distracted by Auba's shirt and the fonts.

I counted 6 different fonts on one shirt (Adidas, Arsenal crest, Emirates, Fly Better, Fly Rwanda, Auba/14).

I know sports team shirts don't necessarily follow the font rules of graphic design but I can safely say that our shirts now violate them big time.

 

And during a match, he might have 3 more fonts; captain's armband, respect or no room for racism patch, and a premier league or Europa cup patch.

 

I just noticed that the Arsenal Women have their own font or they're using last year's.


Also, this happened and I kinda like it.

 

Are they using the warm up shirt as a match day shirt? Because it looks way better than that white kit.

 

It does! I believe the team wore these as warm ups but with Beattie's name and number to show support for her breast cancer battle.

Meh. It looks familiar. If it is real, why is the adidas logo red and white, wouldn't it be all white?

 

No, the reporting is that Adidas is going with a two-tone logo on the third.

We tried to be ourselves and that didn't work, so lets be someone else.

 

Maybe that is in prep for Barca to "steal" Arteta and we replace him with Ten Haag?

I really like the cannon on the leaked away. Footyheadlines tweaked their guess on the third.

 

Wish the yellow was a little darker but love the canon logo. Both kits look better than the away ones we have right now

 

Oh hell yeah! Been wishing they'd do with just the canon for years now.

I kinda like that shade of yellow too, although I am getting serious Grey Poupon vibes with the navy + red stripes.

 

Well now...

 

Best thing about any new gear is likely to be the new/old cannon logo.

 

Actually really like that. As well as the "guessed" blue 3rd above. Still don't know about the leaked home. My first club was Ajax (Dutch league was the only soccer on TV in my home town growing up) so I am likely less bias than others but it just seems like too much white for Arsenal. Will reserve my judgement until I've seen it on.
