I agree. The shirt is meh but at least it's roughly traditional, and viewed from a distance it should look absolutely fine. But it's the addition of "FLY BETTER" that caught my eye for several reasons. Not only is it an example of further, dreaded advertising creep (yes, F1 & Nascar here we come!), and the second font looks a bit odd to my eye, but I can also envision sarcastic puns being made at it's expense... "Emirates... PLAY BETTER", "PASS BETTER", "WIN MORE", "FLY MAYBE?"
If that's the case let's get Daft Punk as the sponsor. (Team has a pedigree with French connections, anyway.)

Yeah I REALLY hate the "blue" kit. Did right from the moment they announced it. Partly because it's not really blue... it's got black shorts for some really stupid reason. If they'd been blue, they could've been used with the yellow kit, a la our tradition. But no.... p.s. Good to see you back Matt... hope you stick around.
I like the 3rd jersey compared to some of the previous 3rd and away jerseys in the past few years. In a way it reminds me of the navy blue Dreamcast jersey from 2001/02.
Worst thing was, I was in the club shop at Finsbury Park about to ask for Edu on the back, when I noticed his picture wasn't on the wall (but all other squad members were). I took that to mean that Edu was off and made a spur of the moment decision to get "Cole 3", thinking to myself 'He is a good lad, he won't leave Arsenal any time soon'... That was the blue away shirt too. Never again!
