http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6263236/site/newsweek/ i caught this in the new issue of newsweek international
i meant to add that this was written before the missing explosives fiasco, the latest corporate tax bill and the judgement that halliburton can keep about $3 billion in unaccounted for money
the missing explosives that an inbeded nbc reporter said were not there when they got there at the start of the war? and if they were there 2 years ago and were stolen why aren't they using them? if there are no companies who will you work for? if the three billion is unaccounted for how do you now about it and why would the democrates that reviewed the account let them keep it?
Will get to it but wanted to add something. Chris Matthews was boasting last night that NBC had reported this missing explosives story back in March of this year.
Completely appropriate review, I believe, of the 4 Bush years. Now we will wait for a review of Kerry's 20 senate years...
A very good read. Interesting to see that the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office reports that 2/3 of the 2004 deficit we're now facing was the result from Dubya's tax cuts.
