Charter bus or airplane for trip to next away game and have a "butts in set" drawing for trip on this transportation.

The Cauldron is independent and they are getting stuff from the FO. It can be done. I agree that maintaining our independence is paramount, but there is a middle ground. Hell, even the offer would be nice. I just don't see them going out of their way to help us grow, despite the consistent promise to do so.

May 13th Houston game - anything special planned for this one?
The goal should be a sellout.
What do the fans, the FO, have to do to make that happen?

...wait a second - what is the FO doing for "The Cauldron"?
What does it mean that Inferno is "independent" and the FO could "regulate us"?
Please explain, I am a novice, remember.

    Damn good point.

And yes, Chamo - more fireworks. The smoke bombs and streamers are obviously a big hit atmosphere-wise. Fireworks would just take it over the top.

The Cauldron is KC's supporter's group. They've been given money by their FO to make flags and banners.

There are "official" supporter's groups, that are managed or overseen by the clubs themselves and there are "unofficial" supporter's groups that are run solely by the members. If an SG is "official" they are beholden to the club and can be influenced to do certain things a certain way. As an "unofficial" SG, the Inferno can do as it pleases (within the rules of the stadium, of course), without worrying if it will offend the FO.

Ok, this is good to know.
What is an example of how a club can "influence" a group a certain way?
    I really don't know.

Just throwing this out there - what if the FO gave us money, lots of it, for road games and banners. Then what if next year, the FO wants to get rid of Carlos Ruiz, but we make shirts that say "Keep Ruiz in Hoops", then they threaten to take away the money because we aren't supporting them.

Now, I doubt that'd happen, but it could...

Right. Something like that. Once you are beholden to management then can influence your decisions, and force you to take actions that are in their best interests and not in the group's.

Ok - but what if the FO gave you a couple extra ticket vouchers per game to hand out to your friends?
Or introduced The Inferno before the games?
Or allowed you to come early and get autographs?
Or allowed only Inferno to have flags?
Or let you bring your kid to practice.

See, these kinds of things could grow Inferno and grow the fanbase.
But we don't know what they might offer if we don't speak with the FO, no?
The FO loves our excitement, and might like to shape us into a larger stronger and more inclusive unit.
Why not at least explore something like that?
    Know what I mean?

None of that makes us an "official" part of the club, and much of that they already do. Remember, I stated before that there are things they can do for us without us becoming "official".

Are you under the impression that the Inferno leadership doesn't speak with the FO regularly? If so you are mistaken.

I'm sure they do, they just don't want to expend any time, money or energy helping us do that.

Yes I do, and yes we have.

Ok, that's cool - remember I am new and know nothing about the past, discussions, anything.
Good to hear that everyone talks.

So, what would FO like to see Inferno do - how could we be better for them?
If they would like us to be bigger, how does that happen (from their perspective)?

    Sorry about all the questions...

People talk, I'm just not sure they actually listen.

Other than getting bigger, I'm not sure.
I can think of dozens of ways, but none of them seem to be something they are willing to do. Not if it interferes with their precious corporate/group sales.

Never apologize for asking good questions, those that refuse to answer should apologize to you.

One more for the list. Every away game needs to be on TV! Home games would be nice, but every away game is a must.

Fireworks would be great. The Roughriders have them every @ Friday home game and they are a big draw.

No, but they should. The night games aren't too bad, and they've wisely stayed away from day games in the summer.

You can go to practice whenever you want. I went a couple times last summer and it was fairly fun.
