I have no doubt this thread will be moved somewhere else but I'm going to assume this is the spot for it for now.

Just for fun I wanted to see what roster people would come up with for a premiership squad if they had no restriction on spending and assuming all players they wanted would play for them, while still following the restrictions I've listed below:

1st - You cannot use any current premiership players

2nd - You cannot use a player from any nation (nationality the claim internationally) that has won the european championship or World Cup ever.

3rd - You can only select at most 2 players from a single Nationality

4th - You can only select 2 players TOTAL from any of the following leagues: Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga (1st one), French Ligue 1, Italian Serie A. (Ex. one from Serie A and one from La Liga and you're done)

5th - You have to use players from at least 4 of the 6 international confederations (see if you can use them all)

    --------------------------------------------------------------

I like to do this with my FIFA game to get a sense of the other talented players in the world that aren't yet getting a look in the top flight or aren't choosing to leave yet.

I hope a couple of you give it a try!

So no players from Brasil, Italy, Germany, Argentina, Uruguay, France, England, Russia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Denmark and Greece on top of no current Premier League players.

In Europe, Portugal, Romania and Croatia are the remaining top nations.

This would probably take weeks just to create a team...I know you wanted to create a challenge but you've created too many restrictions. What sort of Premiership team would it be when most or none of the players would be of Premiership quality.

Based around some of those I've actually seen a bit of rather than just signed on football manager, so its a bit of a rubbish side and features a couple of players a little out of position.

    McFadden Vittek/Keogh
    Nakamura, Kallstrom, Olofinjana, Srna
    Ledley, Salcido, Mellberg , Wasilewski
    Boruc

Subs: Henessey, Radoi, Rae, Kazim-Richards, Doyle

Formation 3-5-2 (Not really a Prem Formation, but wanted to use lots of mids)

Gk: Artur Boruc (Celtic, Poland) or Andreas Isaakson (PSV, Sweden)
CB: Vincent Kompany (Hamburger SV, Belgium), Stephen McManus (Celtic, Scotland), Jay Demerit (Watford, USA)
MF: Shinsuke Nakamura (Celtic, Japan), Stephen Appiah (Fenerbache, Ghana), Per Ciljan Skjelbred (Rosenborg, Norway), Harry Kewell (Galatasaray, Australia), Edison Mendez (PSV, Ecuador)
St: Samuel Eto’o (Barcelona, Cameroon), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy, USA)

Confederations used: UEFA, ConCacaf, AFC, CAF, CONMEBOL
Club Exceptions: Barcelona (1), Hamburger SV (1)

With more time I could probably find more players but this is kinda off the top of my head.
