Yanks taking club PT away from other yanks (Musah)? Not cool. That would be a solid move for Johnny though. A step up in pay and prestige, but Milan would also move him on if he kicks ass and merits a big-money move to a bigger club.

Reports that AC Milan's 20 million Euro offer was turned down. They want 30M.

I would be very happy to see him stay at Betis another season. He's only been there half a season so far.

He played pretty darn well in his ~65 minutes of play. I was so impressed with him last season in La Liga... More of the same in this one. Had several standout moments on O including a nice slip pass on goal and a smooth run thru the MF highlighted by a good Zidane spin-turn. Solid on D as usual. I expect big things this season.

On the bench, how annoying! Betis hosting Girona to open the La Liga season. Roca and Carvalho starting as the DMs.

Someone needs to explain to me what any top-level team sees in Marc Roca.

Bayern signed him! He played for them a little! He sucks!

Unused sub today. Have to imagine he's still on the transfer block given his lack of playing time. Betis have said all summer they need to sell a high level player to balance the budget, and to my knowledge haven't yet. Possible hes just not playing as well as Roca and Carvalho, but both are players he beat out and outplayed last season.

He could also have a small injury where they would rather not play him unless desperate (injury to a player on field).
