    He mostly plays as an outside-forward/winger for Lyon. He was quite good last season.

    This is Licha's time. Hopefully Batista calls him up.

    Zabaleta did quite well today. He had to take care of Walcott and later Arshavin and for the most part he kept up and made some good tackles. He got sent off incorrectly for a pathetic altercation with Sagna when Sagna was the one of initiated the contact. Instead of falling to ground like a lot of playrs would Zabaleta stood his ground, got in his face, and shoved him off when Sagna was trying to put his head on him.

    During the match he was running all over the place and screaming at his teammates to concentrate. He's exactly the type of player the NT needs. He bleeds for his shirt.

    Whatever happened to Leonardo Fernandez? Wasn't he a solid defender? There are so many players that fall out of the loop. I wish he rid of these clumsy defenders and start from scratch.

    Forlin, Pareja, and Zabaleta should all be called up. Forlin and Zabaleta should be given a chance to start. Enough of Demichelis whose debut for Malaga was horrible and they lost 0-3 to Sevilla with a goal from Perotti.

    How's he been doing with Villarreal? I haven't seen enough of them this season. What about Gonzalo?

    Was that some defending I see? Have not seen that in ages on this team. Went to Russia hu... Interesting, anybody watch the Russian league? Any shot of him making the team, even on the bench?

    Musacchio has been a revelation, while Gonzalo is a bench player as of now.

    You've got to love the trash talking Felip Melo, my player of 2010 just for his incredible performance against Holland at the world cup.:D

    At least with Adriano (before he went totally loopy) he used to deliver on his trash talking, Melo trash talks and is c**p.:D

    Banega scored today in the Copa del Rey against Villarreal but Valencia got spanked. Even Marco Ruben scored for Villarreal.

    Cavenaghi scored 2 goals for Mallorca but they also got eliminated. Piatti scored 2 for Almeria.

    Pastore had a nice assist for Palermo's first goal today.

    Cambiasso also scored a great header against Napoli. Zanetti had a brilliant match. He almost scored a golazo after he made a run all the way from the midfield and took on about 3 defenders. The shot went just wide.

    Lavezzi didn't do much.

    Zanetti at 40 years old is still going to run faster than any other Argentina defender

    I know in most case players becoming much slower at 33 years old, that's not the case for Zanetti.

    He had no problem dealing with Messi & Klose who were two top scorers in last season CL. Its amazing Argentina had a coach that would pick Otamendi, Daniel Garce and Nicholas Burdisso instead.

    Why has Aimar been neglected from la seleccion over and over again? Last time he played with Argentina in the world cup qualifiers he had an assist and a great connection with Messi. Aimar was Messi's idol growing up and the two always had a great understanding with each other:
