More praise for Rui from Pippo (courtesy of www.acmilan.com):

INZAGHI: 'Rui Costa is my fortune'
    25 September 2002 09:17

MILAN - Gazzetta focuses on man of the match Filippo Inzaghi:

'I wanted this record and now I'm struck with beating many stars of the past. But what I really liked was the outstanding performance of Milan: everyone was up to the match. Rui Costa didn't fail any pass, he can be our fortune'.

I'm glad to see that Rui is getting back to his good form. unfortunately I wasn't able to watch the game, but from all the articles, it seems like Rui was integral to Milan's victory.

    Go Rui!

I saw the match and Rui was in top form as was the rest of the squad. That's one of the best performances I've seen from Milan in sometime. It could have easily been 8-0 with all the sitters we missed.

I think the key to Rui Costa's resurgence has been having other attacking midfielders in the field to take the focus off of him and help him in keeping possession. Manny (Rui Costa), Pirlo, Seedorf and Rivaldo very rarely lose the ball when going forward and are devasting on the counter attack.

Come and visit the AC MILAN FORUM and share your admiration with us for the best attacking midfielder in the world!

Stunning. I like Deportivo, but they were just taken apart after the first goal was scored. I never understood why everyone was so excited about Rui. In the few games that I saw him in the last couple of years, he looked like crap. Seedorf and him were incredible, and the work rate of the guy (forgot his name) on the right side of mids was unbelievable.

AC Milan finally got smart and put Maldini in the center at defense. He has struggled the last couple of years at left back. If they continue in this form (which is impossible), they will take the Champions League...

heheh quake attack the reason you are saying that is because real will go down should they face ac or barca. rui costa has been impressive in almost all the matches in the serie a and off season friendlies, berlusconi cup etc, and if rui costa ever struggled in the serie a then it was last season, the previous season with fiorentina he was oen of the top play makers. all real fans should wait and see how the milan of 90`s will be back when super sheva comes back from injury.
