And its all over. Man U 1-0 Spurs. Looks like they got off a lot of good shots, but were unlucky to face Keller who gave up only the PK. Could easily have been 3-0 or 4-0. Not sure how this will affect their confidence, hopefully it'll be a good thing though.

This was an ideal outcome as far as I'm concerned. Man U played well, had many quality shots, won, and Keller could not have played any better.

    PK Observation

Did anyone notice there's something special about Ruud's penalty kick this time around? I have seen every single PK he has taken while he was in United (he has done more than a few). If my memory didn't fail me, I believe this is the first time ever that he shot towards his right side; every time he aimed for his left side.

I think this is because Ruud saw how good of a goalkeeper Keller is. Keller must've studied the penalty pattern of Van Nistelrooy before this game, and sure enough, he dived into his own right and thereby missing the ball completely.

Good job Ruudy for psyching out the goalie!

p.s. Just for fun: if you were the goalie against the next Van Nistelrooy penalty kick, which side would you dive for?
