dave, perhaps you should spend more time in the referee forums. I'm more than sure that the Laws of the Game do allow the goal keeper to use his hand inside the penalty box and that field players are allow to bring the ball back over the touch line only with thier hands. However, the LOTG do restrict the use of their hands to an overhand throw with both hands with both feet on the ground. The LOTG do not however have any restrictions on how the goal keeper plays the ball with his hands, ie: overhand/underhand or single arm throw, etc.

Perhaps dave, if you're going to be up this early on a Sunday to catch a game, you should ensure that you get plenty of sleep prior to any matches and also be sure to drink some coffee and have a poptart or doughnut. I think you may have a problem with low blood glucose levels in the morning. I would suggest setting up an appointment with your physician for a diabetes test.

To be sure. They seriously miss Scholes, but there is also no Beckham-like service out of the midfield. Where's Ole? Not even on the bench. He has been the most productive off-the-bench player ever, it seems. And, as flashy as Ronaldo is, his contribution to winning games has been mighty slim thus far. I think ManU is in for a pummeling at the hands of Chelsea. Forget Arsenal.

Ole has been fighting a fitness fight. IIRC he picked up a knee injury while playing for his country and did something else last week.

a pretty stupid move by keown considering campbell is away and the gunners are thin at the back to begin with - he has to know the cameras will catch that from about 42 different angles

I paid $15 on PPV for that match for two reasons:

1. to see a great game; and

2. to see TimMay make great save after great save.

The game absolutely stunk until the last five minutes, and then it was just putrid, immature crap.

And TimMay - quite literally - had to do absolutely nothing.

Serves me right.

PS. Totally lost A LOT of respect for a whole batch of Arsenal players. What a bunch of disgraceful jerkoffs.
